If you could not stomach one more speech by Obama last night, please read his words at the link provided below.

There isn't anything new - just the same old political rhetoric we've heard time and time again.

Would love to know what you think.  There were a couple of strange statements such as we are the worst polluters in the world and traffic is jamming up all over.  First of all - traffic is down because we can't pay for gas and people are unemployed.

We are political pawns and it is a sad day for America to be used like this.  Although the words "sound good" -- we know about words and they run empty in Washingon, DC.

I am a wee bit miffed, i went to reply to a blog about the President's speech at:

http://www.fctpcommunity.org/profiles/blogs/reaction-to-obama-s-spe...

I really thought people allowed shared thoughts, but my reply has to be approved first before anyone can see it, so i will share it here instead since it pertained to his speech:

Do not hold your breath. This man waited until he spent over $400 billion dollars given to him in early August by raising the debt ceiling. He spent it in less than 30 days, after he gave his speech, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had the Senate pass a increase of over a half trillion dollars in the debt ceiling last night.

IF this President was serious, he would not have waited to unveil his job plan after his 10 day vacation. He would have it all in writing, he has yet to submit anything in writing. Now he wants the American people to wait two more weeks for him to unveil how ALL of this $400 plus billion dollar America Jobs Act that in reality is just Stimulus #3.

Go to speaker.gov  house.gov and gop.gov and read what the House has been trying to do since Jan 2011, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid keeps shelving all passed budgets, job bills, any bills that are coming out of the House passed by bipartisan votes and not allowing a open debate on the Senate floor, he and all the Progressive Democrats are obstructing legislation from operating properly and legally, they are not allowing the peoples' voices to be heard and have been doing so since they took over Congress in Jan 2007. They have allowed our country to run without a budget being passed thru the House since April 2009. All the while being disingenuous to the American people and blaming the GOP.

It is clear they do not want the American people to know their agenda or true intentions.

Look I don't know about you guys, but I could use the tax break. Conservative commentators were even buying into this part of the plan. I am for it.

Good grief! Life isn't fair! Never has been, never will be. I'm sure all of our parents taught us that when we were in Kindergarten. We are given equal opportunity, not equal outcomes! I am sick and tired of him talking about "fairness". It's pointless.

Sorry Billie, I read a few paragraphs and thought why bother.  It's the same ole same ole.  The people who have burdened us with more debt than ever, and much more than Bush caused, are now just out to steal more of our money.  I sent my petition with additional comments.

I just sent a nice letter, #91,756.

I am extremely concerned by the apathy and ideology of my elected representatives, with the exception of Senator Rubio, inability to stand up for the principles on which this nation was founded.  When has increasing debt when there already exists a danger of inability to support current obligations ever had a positive or productive outcome, NEVER?

That being said, the current request from our president is an outrage to fiscal responsibility and national security.  With billions spent on the arts, grants for meaningless studies, public media, and more the need to prioritize spending is evident.  When the house is on fire you don't sit back and wonder what color to paint it.  This is exactly what is occurring in Washington, the nations credit card is maxed out and we have a petulant president whining for more money.  Even more egregious is the fact that less than two years ago he was granted a sum of money unprecedented, which has had an awful return on investment for the taxpayer.  The stimulus program merely plugged the holes of unsustainable government spending at all levels.  Now this president wants more money to plug the same holes.

I am telling, not asking, you to not support this issue.  November 2010 demonstrated the power of an educated electorate.  If you think that election cycle was historic, just wait for 2012.

It's pure stupidity to keep doing the same thing over and over to try and get a different outcome.  If you want more employment cut taxes and remove job cutting regulations.  This just shows you what kind of dummies we have in Washington, DC.

Just think, 45 minutes of political campaigning during prime time TV for free. If nothing else, this guy has gall.

The speech was just the start of a campaign to demonize Republicans. It is just more "porculus" and more taxes. He's just doing the old tax and spend behind the old razzle dazzle. When Republicans object, Obama and his minions will just say that the Republicans and the Tea Party are playing politics with America's future We need a candidate who has the character and the ability to show up the Obama plan for what it is: a big Ponzi scheme.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
