My son Mike and I made it to the Washington area Saturday night and set off early Sunday for the march on the capitol. As Billie comented, the crowd was not nearly as large as last year and I fel certain the liberal media will eat that up but there was one wonderful ray of sunshine in the day that I noticed. There were many more blacks participating and these were not counter protesters, they were wearing Tea Party t-shirts. I commend every one of them for their courage. It takes lots of courage for them to go against the current of black feelings on this subject and openly come out for the principals of the tea party. I would interpret it to mean that a lot more blacks will vote the conservative ticket this fall. I certainly hope so. These higher taxes are going to affect all black wage earners the same as all wage earners.
