Media attacks continue on We the People

#1…The Tiny Union used my name in a headline this morning.  Mark Woods in his personal opinion column created this headline…  “Zombies can’t vote in city elections, Billie.”  I don’t know Mark Woods and have never met him.  He is very comfortable using my first name in his headline. 

 

This has become an interesting event.  The election is over and has been for a week but daily we see stories demeaning the tea party and me personally in the TU.   It is apparent they have prepared a strategy to shame us and me into submission.   

• Note to TU:  It’s not going to work.   Your lack of understanding what this movement and the people within it are all about will be the clink in your strategy to take us down. 

 

#2…The race card has been thrown down by a liberal professor at UNF.  Julie Ingersoll is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Florida. She is the author of Evangelical Christian Women: War Stories in the Gender Battles and is currently writing a book on the influence of Christian Reconstructionism.    Her article is filthy and disgusting.  She even makes fun of Heritage so we are in good company.  Read it here:  Race card used by UNF Professor Professor

• Note to Tea Party Members:  Alive and well on the local campus of University of North Florida – progressives teaching our children to hate their heritage, to use race cards when they don’t like what people have to say and to call themselves Christians when in reality they are a CINO – Christian in Name Only.
• Don’t our tax dollars help pay for the salaries of these professors?
• Do you really want to send your children or your money to these progressive colleges?

#3…A tea party member and a volunteer as a poll watcher last week, posted this blog today.  The Jacksonville race is national news.  Here is his post:

 

There is a conservative talk show host named Bill Bennett who hosts a radio program called “Morning In America” from 6AM to 9AM weekdays on AM 600 in Jacksonville. 

Rick Santorum, the former Congressman/aspiring conservative Presidential candidate substitutes for Bill on Fridays.  The Jacksonville Mayors race was Tuesday, May 17.  On Friday, May 20, Rick interviewed the head of the South Carolina Republican party.  They discussed that the Duval GOP and the Mike Hogan campaign ran a relatively low key campaign while Corrine brought at least 200 paid staffers from out of state to Jacksonvil... are organized and committed to come to our town and take it away f...

This progressive liberal strategy of bringing in paid staffers to run local elections is happening all across our country.

On another note, I saw a blog post asserting that since the progressive liberals will be spread out across the country for the 2012 election, their resources in terms of money and manpower may be diluted.  That thinking breeds complacency and is a recipe for disaster.  I respectfully submit that it doesn’t matter how diluted the opposition is as long as they deliver more voters than you.  Let me say this:  They are better funded than you, more organized than you and quite possibly more committed than you.  When Mike Yost ran against Corrine Brown in 2010, Mike worked 24/7 to run a hard fought campaign.  Corrine’s campaign office was closed more than it was open.  She CRUSHED Mike.  Do you understand?  All she had to do was make a few calls and write a few checks.  Her organization was well established.  The time is now for conservative Americans to organize and make a commitment for 2012.

 

To all our tea party members:  A well-seasoned politician recently said this to me – “If you’re not getting beat up, you are ineffective.  When the beatings happen, that means they are scared of you.”  Keep smiling - it's all good.

 

Reminder:  We will host a special evening engagement with David Beamer, father of Todd Beamer.  Todd was killed on 9/11 when his plane went down in a Pennsylvania field as he and other passengers tried to remove the terrorists from the cockpit.  David will share the effects this tragedy has had on his family and on our beloved country.

After reading what Julie Ingersoll wrote and knowing she is teaching at UNF,  it just gave us another reason to send our children and grand children to Christian schools.  I sent my first two to Faulkner Univ.  in Montgomery, Ala.  It's a great Christian college and they just had Sarah Palin as a speaker.

Jesus spoke these words to his disciples as he sent them out.  That is our mission as well.  We have to learn to be "wise as serpents", even cunning, while still maintaining our integrity.  For too long, we have tried to be "nice" and we see where that has gotten us.

If you loose, you have no platform, use the same tactics and more. There never ever has been clean politics. Let's get going now, hold a free beer rally, not a lemonade social. Get the young people who have lots of energy, let the older folks with experience be guides and leaders. The NY congressional race, another race the liberals used negative ads, and they won, it works, wake up, it works. We can be civil and tough. Losing is not an option, WEAR YOUR TEA PARTY GARB, I did not see a single TP ad, t shirt, sign during the mayor race, wear your colors proudly like a patriot or we will not be allowed to  before you know it. We need lawyers, investigators, those who know the secrets to step up now.

Dear Tea Party Leaders, Members, and Friends,

 

For over 5 months, I have been sounding the warning- the Liberal/Progressives will go to no ends to win elections nor will they spare no funds or effort to assure your voice is silenced. More than ever, they see their plans as superior; to average, everyday Conservative American's desiring to remain free and living in Liberty. They really DO believe that the government is better positioned to solve your problems far better than you. When they are placed in positions of power, they win- case in point, the Obamacare bill that was crammed down our throats. They are even willing to lose an election in order to assure their domination and short term loss of power.

 

Today, more than ever, they want that power back. They use the media, the airwaves, and the misguided belief that people will not like the reality that Conservatives are placing in front of each of us and will revolt and turn away from the effort to return this nation to TRUE Constitutional government. They will settle for nothing less than a continuation of their plan to bankrupt this nation, install their own elites in power, destroy this nation's foundation and place us in a hard "European Socialist" form of government.

 

In some respects, they are winning that battle for the minds of our youth and making people believe that it is Conservatives who are killing our nation. Too often, they place the POWER they want over lives and minds above all else. When they have THAT, they have the nation. The question is, do YOU want to allow that to continue??

 

How can we fight back?? A very good question that requires very committed and dedicated PEOPLE within this movement. So how many are there and what sacrifices are YOU willing to make to achieve an absolute defeat of their ideology?

 

Some see the 2012 elections as being about electing a Presidential candidate to defeat Barack Obama. That is only 1/3 of the story. The REST of the story is the U.S. House and Senate elections. THAT is the 2/3 that will make a far greater difference no matter who is in the White House. We won 63 House seats in 2010. Pundits are saying that we may LOSE as many as 35-40 in 2012. We may gain a couple of Senate seats, but still, it is too early to tell. Remember, the President can ONLY act on laws that Congress passes. He neither has a vote, nor can dictate what happens with legislation as it passes through both Houses of Congress. His role is to ADMINISTER those laws. Congress STILL has the power to reign in the President should he overstep his boundaries. AND with enough members of those 2 Houses of Congress, a VETO can be overridden!

 

The trap the Lame Stream Media is setting is for YOU to ignore the 2/3's of the US Government and concentrate on the "unbeatable" sitting President. They will do ALL they can to divide and conquer and to make US seem ineffective and complacent with the 2010 wins. Is this what you are happy with?? I pray you aren't.

 

The strategy needs to follow along some simple lines that brings effective results in the Florida 2012 races- ALL OF THEM!!!

1. Organizing down to the Precinct level. Large scale organization is only as effective as the smallest division. You make your PRECINCT LEVELS STRONG, your overall group is strong and unbeatable. THIS is where WE are weak and get our elections handed to us by the Liberals.
2. Help FUND your candidates NOW. There is an old saying- "Money is the mothers milk of politics." If you have a beautiful baby and don't feed it, it will soon die. The same holds true with solid and electable candidates- if they don't have the funds to mount a solid campaign, their efforts all too soon die. Imagine the Revolutionary War with NO MONEY to fight. We would NOT be the United States of America. We are in a very similar WAR now. Sacrifice made sure we won beginning in 1776 and unless we do the same TODAY, we lose. Do you love your country so much you will make a sacrifice enough to take it back from these Liberal/Progressives?
3. Start TODAY. Every day you sit and wait for someone ELSE to get started or make plans, you are just that much more behind. Trust me, the Liberal/Progressives are ALREADY planning and working. Have a COTTAGE MEETING in your home and invite Candidates to speak and to expand those into others homes as well. SOMETHING must be happening 6-7 days/evenings a week and YOU are the foundation to make it happen. This will organize your Precinct and will expose your Candidates on a one-on-one level like NO OTHER CANDIDATES on the Liberal/Progressive side will have. THAT wins elections- NOT the big rallies and events. If you are a member of an organization, get your candidates to speak there too. EVERY voice and EVERY vote in important.

Sometimes we let LIFE rule us. Politics seems to be a secondary thought and we will take care of that when we "have time". Our priorities should be God, Family, and Country. Yet, for those brave and unwavering Patriots that went before us, they placed Country first- because they KNEW that unless we preserved our Nation, we could never have the Freedom to worship as we desired, nor to raise our families in prosperity or Liberty. Are we prepared to make the same sacrifices TODAY for the preservation of our nation from the enemies from within?

 

THAT is your challenge. Its not the challenges of getting to that ball game on Saturday or watching that race on Sunday. Or for that fact, getting up and facing the world today and all it offers. The Challenge is having the FREEDOM to do that, and if you are like me, I see that our ability to do those WITHOUT government breathing down our back as a challenge worth facing- for OUR children and Grandchildren.

 

What I do today will have little impact on my life tomorrow. Yet, it WILL have a tremendous effect on my 5 beautiful grandchildren and my kids. THEIR freedoms are in desperate need of preserving and it is up to US to assure we all give that to them. As Ronald Reagan once said-"We are but one generation away from losing our freedoms".

 

Will WE be the generation that tells how WE lost those freedoms?? Or will WE be the generation that passed them to those we love and teach THEM how to do the same for their following generations?

Politics is a blood sport. When the smears and attacks emerge, count your blessing because you are being effective.

And therein lies the rub.  I have found many conservatives want "somebody to do something", but they never see that "somebody" as themselves.  Can't tell you how many times I have heard "the tea party should..."  or "what is the tea party doing about...." or "where was the tea party when...".  I always tell these people "why don't you join us and YOU do that?"!! Everybody can do something, if it's nothing more than posting information on Facebook, sending out emails, making a phone call, standing (or sitting) on a street corner holding a sign.  But even more than that, WE have to be the ones next time picking up kids from high schools to go vote, getting absentee ballots to our shut-ins, etc.  "Proactive" is the key.  And I'm talking to myself as much as anyone else.  It's so easy to let the "busyness" of life over-ride all of this.  But if "this" isn't taken care of, our busy lives as we know them will cease to exist.
