Either way, Merry Christmas to all! To my Jewish friends, Happy Chanukah!

 

Now to the business at hand.

 

The government will not shut down. The military still works (this is not the Netherlands, yet). All non-essential government workers stay home, and eventually a spending bill gets passed. Then, the government workers that got to stay home and watch Oprah go back to work and get back pay for the days they were furloughed. There is no "shut down". This is a scare tactic by the liberal media. Shut the government down. Shut it down.

 

As Mark Twain said, "no man's wallet is safe while Congress is in session".

 

Congress should not get paid if they do not meet their statutory requirements (like passing a budget).

 

Let's give Barack Obama the line item veto.

 

The whole parlimentary process used by Congress needs to be overhauled. Reconciliation is a threat to the Republic (look at Obamacare). The procedure of "deeming" legislation passed is a joke worthy of a banana republic. These procedural tactics need to be wiped. What are our elected officials doing?

 

If you need to get emergency legislation through Congress, start a revenue bill in the House and table it for consideration by any future Congress. If you need it, take it out of the drawer.

 

There is no compromise on the Constitution. We are one Supreme Court justice away from losing the Republic through the tactic of stacking the Supreme Court. Ginsberg, Kagan, and Soto-Mayor are political hacks of the worst kind.

 

No Ghram-nesty for Rinos-Republicans in Name Only. Linsay Graham, you are an embassment to the Republican Party. Shame on you.

 

Take back the Republic!



Let California go bankrupt. BK for CA! Government workers should not be allowed to unionize.

 

God bless Sarah Palin, Michele Bachman, and Nikki Haley. Go girls! We men have screwed-up this Republic.

The last great Republican male leader was Ronald Regan (Gingerich tried and was ineffective, but keep an eye on NJ's Governor and VA's State Attorney General). Now we have three women that will be National leaders. They have more balls than the men.

 

Screw the Republican elite. No royalty. Get it?

 

Glad to see Steele go from the Republican chair. Nice man, decent, and he tried. His job is done. Perhaps this would be a great position for Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement.

 

Like the Minute Men of old, ready to defend a fledgling nation, we now must be ready to come to the age of the wounded eagle, America.
