June 21, 2012 - The Senate Has Voted Against GMO Labels!

This was part of the Farm Bill that AFP was against, and although the Farm Bill passed in the senate, one amendment was once again removed that would have allowed us to see what has GMO products in it and required labeling for those products containing GMO. Monsanto must spend a lot of money for the right to keep poisoning us (when most other countries have either outlawed GMO or at the very least forced them to label the stuff).  A friend sent this along to me, and you will note that Rubio and Nelson voted against the amendment in lock step (and this is not the first time they have voted in lock step).  In fairness to Rubio, he did vote against the whole bill, and information about the bill (which passed with some republican votes is at the bottom).

June 21, 2012 - The Senate Has Voted Against GMO Labels! There are 49 other countries that ban/restrict the use of GMOs, but not the USA. OVER 90% of the American public want them AT LEAST LABELLED - and we can't even do that!!!!

Only 1 Republican voted for labelling - PATHETIC! These people are OBVIOUSLY more concerned in LINING their own POCKETS than protecting the American people!!!

With my last breath, I spit at thee! VOTE THEM OUT!
