I know that the first action item here is late in getting out however please do not let that stop you from sending an email or calling.
     1. This coming Monday, the 7th, Gov. Rick Scott will be meeting with the HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius to discuss the disparity of the following:
     • In November, economists predicted the Medicaid expansion would cost $9 Billion. But the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration pegs the cost near $25 Billion...3x as much.
Obama Care WILL break the bank, we’ve always known that, but we’re already starting to see the numbers start to inflate dramatically. Please help spread the word and let people know the truth. The Gov. needs to know people are concerned instead of leaving it up to the mainstream media to tell him that “no one cares!”

                                  2. KEEP BENGHAZI OUT THERE!!!

PLEASE purchase 10 postcards. PLEASE ask EVERYONE you know and all members of your group to purchase just 10 postcards and send them to Representative Darrell Issa.

Examples of what you can put on the card are:

   • WE DEMAND TO KNOW WHO GAVE THE ORDER TO STAND DOWN IN BENGHAZI and PROSECUTE THEM TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.

   • "WE THE PEOPLE" DEMAND AN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION OF BENGHAZI.

   • ”WE THE PEOPLE" DEMAND TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT BENGHAZI.

Use one of the statements, use them all or make up your own but please just 10 postcards from the post office or purchase Gadsden postcards from agenda21 today.com. You can buy just a couple or you can buy 1000 for $85 (includes shipping in the USA).

Phone calls are also recommended. Just think if we and everyone we knew sent 10 postcards and made 1 phone call to Rep. Issa it might just make a difference.

Representative Darrell Issa
Washington DC Office
• 2347 Rayburn House Office Building • Washington, DC 20515
• Phone: 202-225-3906
• Fax: 202-225-3303

The stamp for a post card is 32 cents. That is $3.20 for postage on 10 cards. My Gadsden cards ARE IN THE MAIL. Please let me know if you decide to participate. Let me know if you are getting a group together for a postcard writing campaign to Rep. Issa.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend the meeting on the J-Bill at City Hall yesterday and a special thank you to those who stood up and spoke to the members of the Duval Legislative Delegation. Job well done!!! With an amendment the bill passed and will be on its way to the State.

Many have asked why we were even involved or interested in this issue. My response is simple, it is past time that we the citizens get involved and understand what is happening at the City, State and Federal level. In this case I believe that the Police and Firemen of this city deserve to have every dime of the money that they have put their lives on the line working for. We are in full support of these men and women and believe that ethical leadership and financial accountability MUST be in place in our governments.

God Bless each of you and may God Bless our America.

Beth Heath provided this verbiage that can be used for contact to the Gov.

"Respectfully request that you stand strong against Fed govt push for Fla to implement subject Act when you meet on Jan 7th with HHS and in all future discussion on this Act. Floridians across this state are watching closely to see if you will remain firm against this Act.  The Feds do not know what Florida's Medicaid cost would be nor can they define precise eligibility.  The President's indecisiveness on amnesty could bankrupt Florida with the stroke of a pen. Even various GAO reports to Congress discuss many unknowns for States to estimate Obamacare Medicaid costs.  Thank you for your hard work in trying to keep Florida solvent.  If you cave on this issue, we fear that all your hard work would have been in vain.  Respectfully,"

I'll write to Darrell Issa, but probably not 10 times!  If they notice many postcards from the same person, would it not diminish the impact of the contact?

Great to see the tea party patriots turn out on Friday at Jacksonville's City Hall for the vote on the J-bill with the Duval Delegation.  We saw the process and learned more about those in our delegation.  One member of the delegation was not present and I wonder if her presence/participation would have made a difference in the outcome of the amendment vote.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
