If you only had 12 hours to live: Good job, Stephen

Many of you might have heard that Stephen Butters, the Office Manager for the local GOP headquarters, passed away in his sleep last night.  He was only 29 years old.

Stephen was a kind and gentle man who wanted to serve others.  He hated conflict (even though he was in politics) and he had a huge desire to ensure everyone was comfortable in a group environment.  His demeanor was professional and service-oriented and he loved to have fun.

I got a phone call today that Stephen had passed away.  I was stunned.  He was way too young and his parents are struggling with their loss.

When I hung up the phone from the alert to Stephen's death, I was reminded of my last correspondence with him.  He sent me a message telling me he would be sending out a message about our local Tea Party Rally to the Right today and he was excited about it.  That message came yesterday afternoon at 5:34 PM.

Twelve hours later, Stephen was gone.

Stephen is in heaven and enjoying the fruits of his short life.  He worked hard for what he believed in.  He was a good soul.  He made you feel good about yourself.  He left the room a better place.

In honor of Stephen Butters and his very short life here on earth, please take each day and live it as if you only had 12 hours to live.  Can you imagine if we all lived that way?

I have no bad feelings about Stephen and I venture to say - not too many people do.

He did good and his life here on earth should be a testimony to all of us that Life is short and we should make a difference while we're here.

Stephen did and I'm sure as he entered heaven sometime in the early hours of this morning, he heard "Good job, Stephen, welcome to heaven.  Your job on earth is done."

Rest in peace, Stephen Butters.  You did good!

Prayers for Stephen and to all of his family.

I did not know him well, but knew many people that did and am now sorry I did not make time to get to know him.  Life is unpredictable and too many of us, myself included, loose sight of the important things in life; family and friends.

My prayers are with his family, God Bless.

What a wonderful tribute! May he rest in peace, and may God comfort his family in their grief.

I didn't know Stephen, but my prayers are that God will wrap his arms around his family and friends and comfort them in their loss.  Being in the presence of our Lord and walking on streets of gold, I'm sure that if Stephen had the choice, he'd choose to stay where he is now.

Steve was so young and we will keep all in our prayers.  Steve was doing what he loved and I am reminded of this saying, "Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around & Faith looks up".  God Bless!

We are certain Steve is safe in heaven, our prayers are with his parents and family.  There are no words to assauge our grief, but together we offer our sympathy and support.

Steve (or as I called him "Butter") was a great young man. He believed in America, he believed in Republican ideals. So much so; that he "moonlighted" at Republican Party headquarters to make a difference. He had a good heart, he was my friend, and he was a Patriot. I'm gonna miss that kid. . .

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
