Florida is in the spotlight today.  If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination.  They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.

I've seen this before as a young 20 year old.  I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article.  I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.

I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.

Newt Battles Mush From the Wimps

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.

"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980

Yet still more mush from the wimps.

To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."

Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.

The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.

The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.

Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

John in my humble opinion yes in a lot of ways. When is a politician not a politician? I believe once elected 99.9 of all elected first job is get re-elected.  We vote them in and off they go.While most may have good ideas soon they learn the DC way, those who buck the system are loners and one timers. I would hope with the rise of the Tea party we would remind them often of why they are there.  As we all know DC has been broke a long time. Will it change? As long as the silent masses are silent the answer is No it will not.  OK has Newt ever done anything good? Newt is the best vetted candidate. Romney the best protected. I wonder if they will protect Romney like they did George Bush?

in my humble opinion you made up your mind long before this conversation and I don't think his ideas cost him anything what cost him I believe  was the witch hunt started by the hippie hag from san fran.

Mr. Newt learned from Reagan if you do what the people are paying you for its all GOOD!!!

I agree steve, thats what I have been trying to say. If the people we are fighting hate him then we should support him. Maybe for the sake of arguement Ron Paul is the better candidate. If we have no chance of getting him elected then we should at least support the best candidate that we can get elected and that sure as hell isn't Romney. Even if I wasn't a Newt supporter I would still say that he is the best chance that we have (if not just by default) of beating the washington establishment. An establishment which is fighting tooth and nail to keep him from getting the nomination because they fear him. Why do they fear him? Because they can't control him and because he will not play the game by their rules..................

If I had nothing else to go by I would consider the person most hated by the establishment which would include all of congress. To me that is the most telling. Please tell me one more time how Newt was booted out by his party?  What lying cheating theirs don't like Newt? Not sure having congress's love is such a good thing. I am extreme I believe  we need to boot out those who support socialism which takes care of one party the other party voted at least 85% of them out. Maybe then real changes will start.

Newt endorsments and TP supporters:

Herman Cain, Fred Thompson, Chuck Norris, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, Eric Erickson, Michael & Nancy Reagan, J.C. Watts

Romney endorsements:

Donald Trump, John McCain, Newspaper after Newspaper......etc

Chris Christy & Ann Coultor, what are they thinking?

All he needs now is Charlie Crist and Bill Nelson to cap off the list.

No real point to this post, just an observation. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and the friend of my enemy is also my enemy. Romney has nobody that I really consider my friend endorsing him. Unlike Newt, who has a lot of people that I consider to be strong supporters of the Tea Party supporting him. That just makes me wonder where the Tea Party support should really be.

Mr. Newt will put the people and the country first.

His own party is full of RINO's and  we are suppose to hold it against him that they fought against him as speaker. Really?

I would be more upset if those very same RINO's were endoursing him now, they aren't, they are endoursing Romney instead. They are our enemy, the very establishment that the TP was created to fight. Now we are upset because our enemy doesn't like Newt? What kind of bass ackwards kind of logic is that?

The ethics investigation was nothing more than a character assination by the washington establishment lead by none other than Nancy Polosi herself. Yes he made enemies and stepped on a lot of toes while he was speaker of the house. That is a good thing if you ask me. The $300,000 that he had to pay was for the cost of the investigation not as an actual fine for anything because they couldn't really find anything that he had done wrong. The RINO's in the house along with the washington establishment can not control him so they fear him. They did everything they could do to get rid of him. The enemy of my enemies is my friend, so I think that it is a good thing for him actually.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
