I have tried to contact canidates and whom ever would listen on Obama and his energy issues. But no one will call him out on it. He says he is looking to make algae the fuel of the future, BUT you can no longer purchase 10-10-10 fertlizer because the government has made the manufactures stop putting phosphate in it making it 10-0-10 to stop the growth of algae also he want's the public to start buying fuel efficent cars while he still rides in the beast and is followed by his fleet of suburbans and he still flies alone in an aircraft burning a few hundred thousand gallons of jet fuel a year not to mention the fuel it takes to fly his family ahead on a seprate aircraft. Also if the "VOLT" is such a fine vehicle why aren't they used by his Secret Service instead of suburbans and why don't they make a limo version to show us just how committed they are about their clean energy vehicles! It's called leading by example.

Something else people are not being told about all of these "green energy" cars is the process of manufacturing the batteries they use at the Cecil Commerse Center has more pollutants and are more dangerous and harmful to the enviroment than any coal fired power plant. How are they going to be disposed of when they go bad and have to be replaced ? The enviroMENTALIST don't want clean energy, because if they did there would be natural gas power plants and pipelines being built now to start replacing the old coal fired ones. (JOBS) The reason we don't see clean burning compressed natural gas vehicles here is the envirolMENTALIST block the building of pipelines so we can get it. Oh ! " it will take ten years before we would see any of it " Well DUH that's ten years people have "JOBS" building the pipelines, right now when you see the oil rigs with the big flames Amanda that's clean burning natural gas that's being burned off and wasted because you envirolMENTALIST are blocking pipelines, phosphate is one of the least of our worries, and Tom is spot on about the bees, you know I don't remember posting I wanted things to be made any easier for me, I never said I thought I lived here alone either. But it seems as I have struck a nerve with Amanda because of her angry attacks!

Roma and Tom, he said that in his blog. But the other part is more important. We in florida have more than doubled our ag exports. We also have a valuable resource in having clean and healthy surface waters and aquifers. We simply cannot allow any and everyone to do whatever they want because it makes their business more profitable, the consequences of those actions being someone else's problem. To iterate that whatever a farmer does is cool because they grow food is just silly. Under that paradigm water, air and basic safety become mere casualties.

Chuck you said that there was no more 10-10-10. That is a mistake. US agricultural exports set an all time record in 2010. Florida ag exports have more than doubled in the last ten years. Chuck you just don't want no smarty pants scientists making your life a little harder. Sorry, but you do not live here alone and so stop whining and get smarter and more efficient. It isn't stopping everyone or the numbers wouldn't be what they are. Call UF ag extension they offer some very good advice. I got this info from my friends in Putnam who claim to me they are doing okay. Which must be very good.

Tom and Roma, Thanks, What Amanda doesn't see is all of the produce and fruit shipped into this country might be inspected by the government but it isn't grown under the strict regulated standards we have to conform to, so when you eat your grapes from Chile or your tomatos from Mexico make sure you wash them real good because the arsnic leavels are alot higher than those grown here in the U.S..  Just look at the nasty water used to irrigate the crops in other countries, they don't care that sewage goes directly into their water ways in Viet Nam where fish is imported into this country and sold and served as grouper. I don't want dirty polluted water either but there are other ways to protect it than to let our universities and enviroMENTALIST "experment" withour enviroment, alot of times they go wrong, like the Kudzou in Geogia, the love bugs in Florida and when they almost wiped out the blue jays by killing a worm which did nothing to harm the enviroment and was their natural food source.

Amanda, It's not about just me , you're  spouting off about the amount of nutrients flowing into our rivers, streams, lakes, swamps-----surface waters. If you want to regulate something, start by regulating yours and your neighbors yard service blowing your yard waste into the street and then to the storm drains, rake it, bag it, and properly dispose of it. Homeowners are by far more responsible for polluting the enviroment than agriculture is, I also don't know what mistake I have made about what fertlizer is available and I don't think I said a thing about DDT either.

This is not some UN Agenda. This is about the people of Florida limiting  the amount of nutrients that flow into our rivers, streams, lakes, swamps----surface waters. You know Chuck, this world isn't all aobut you and your needs. We,as a socirty look at everyone's needs and determine how to balance them. That is what is going on. So, yes, not everything is going to go your way, you make concessions and do what is in the best interest of all. THAT is how societies work. Someone gives a little here, somebody else a little there and we all get something closer to an ideal, but probably not an ideal.

Sorry that you can't use DDT also, but you know despite that we have been able to continue to grow fuits and vegatables.

And one more thing, I know several farmers over in Putnam county, and frankly, they are like chemists, and they would never make a mistake about what fertilizers are available.

I know it's not here yet, but I see it comming over the horizon and I figure agriculture will get hit next before the golf course, because that's where alot of deals are sealed. I read the ordinance and see where agriculture has an exemption for "now", but look at what a little do nothing fish has done in California to some of the most fertile farm land around. All it will take is one lobbist bending the right ear, just like they did to the fishing industry with snapper fishing. The little guys don't have time to go to Washington because they are trying to survive and the people we elect immediatly go out touch. I know I'm all over the map on issues but they all come back to the same place, politicans who promise to represent you to get elected and won't even aknowledge you when they do. They need to stop making new laws and start cleaning up the old ones.

All any politicans and the republican party wants to hear from anybody is.

( ) $25.00 ( ) $50.00 ( ) $100.00 ( ) $150.00 ( ) $200.00 ( ) $250.00

The Republican party always starts their letters about how much they need my input and every page of the letter has the above figures on every page.

I have never had a letter or phone call answered, I have sent letters stapled on all four corners of all of the Republican questioner forms, and when I call local offices it's just Blah Blah Blah and I'll pass your concerns on to the Congressman or Senator, but they almost always forget to get my name , phone number, and address, even the great Marco Rubio's office, and local government isn't any better either!

Yes I can get 10-10-10 for right now if I buy in bulk @ about $500.00 per ton, which is how I buy it, but I have been informed it's only a matter of time before it's 10-0-10 like @ Home Depot , lowes and other suppliers. What people don't relize is the less yeild I get the higher the price you pay if you can even get food, but look at the bright side. We will have a slimmer country like the first lady wants, because the fertiale land will become a dust bowel and grow nothing without fertlizer, and we will have more hungry starving children. I'm by no means a prepper but I can grow and put up the food my family needs to survive, can you? I say start using our own oil and natural gas and keep our food to feed our hungry and let the middle east keep their oil, and let's see how long they last eating their oil and rice from China. Also while I'm on the oil issue, I haven't seen any green energy tractor that can plow and plant a field or a green truck that can haul 80,000 pounds freight cross country and I doubt there will be in this century, maybe we should just stop providing food and services to the enviromentalist, and in a very short time they would see things differntly or just starve.

Chuck, one of the things progressives needed was the environmental thing to get through all the things they wanted and gain total control over every aspect of your life................we have taught children this green worship and it is well beyond anything we need or would want.  It has become a religion unto itself.  We certainly need to safeguard our environment, but right now, we are using junk science, lies and adjusted facts and figures to create a situation for people like Obama to take away all our freedoms, steal our money and rule as a dictator (for the supposed good of all when it is really for his personal good and his friends personal good).  It is a sad day when we have allowed the destruction of our school system and the dumbing down of people to the point they no longer think for themselves or even have the ability to think for themselves.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
