And this from the man who wanted to close Gitmo for all the "fairness" reasons.  Assassination apparently is more to his liking?

Just as the main stream media does with everything else of importance, they have blacked out one of the most terrifying events in our nation’s history:  Barack Obama’s appointment of the first ever assassination czar, John Brennan.

Brennan, Obama’s chief counterterrorism advisor was appointed in virtual silence. 

Boston.com carried the AP story claiming,

White House counterterror chief John Brennan has seized the lead in choosing which terrorists will be targeted for drone attacks or raids, establishing a new procedure for both military and CIA targets.

The effort concentrates power over the use of lethal U.S. force outside war zones within one small team at the White House.

The process, which is about a month old, means Brennan’s staff consults with the State Department and other agencies as to who should go on the target list, making the Pentagon’s role less relevant, according to two current and three former U.S. officials aware of the evolution in how the government goes after terrorists.

The Atlantic published an article that revealed the new assassination czar has a questionable past.  Yet, this is the man now that Barack Obama has placed in charge of assassinations.
