Freedom Outpost: Obama To Military: Pay Up

He cares not one little bit that those on Tricare were promised, because of miserable pay received while on active duty, that they would have this free benefit for life (you know it is kind of like social security that we also paid for, and that broken promise to give us back our money at retirement that they have already spent). Anyway, this is one of the most obscene things this man could do while giving people in this country illegally "the big 3" "free" medical care, welfare, and food stamps in many instances.

On Friday, Barack Obama threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill partly because it did not include higher health care fees for members of the military. That’s right. Obama was out to veto a bill because they didn’t raise fees for health care on military personnel. This is just another example of his total lack of appreciation of the military and disgust with America in general.

In an official policy statement the White House wrote,

“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation.”

In the most recent budget proposal by the Obama administration (no budget has been in effect the entire time Obama has been in office), billions of dollars worth of higher fees for members of TRICARE were proposed. It’s one of the administration’s means of cutting $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.

Read it Amanda, but it also says he will be advised to veto.  He has been trying his best to suck money and benefits out of the military since he took office, and these folks are not well paid to start with when you consider many of them on are on duty 24/7 which is something most people with no experience with the military do not understand nor could they comprehend it (my husband spent years and years gone 6 months out of the year on a submarine..............you do not go home at the end of the day and have dinner with your family).
