Finance Committee approves City Council Bill 2012-0070 $75,000 for a Dog Park

Councilmembers in the finance committee voted for Bill Bishop's DOG PARK.

Will Bishop's next bill be to build a monument to himself in the park?

This is shameful..........totally shameful, and we need to let our councilmen and women know they have no money to pay for this since all, save one councilman, don't seem to realize how bad things are. This doggy park will be installed on the backs of the unemployed, those who have taken pay cuts, those who are losing their homes, those who don't even have enough income coming in to feed their families with ever increasing food prices and for those who are still lucky enough to have a job, ever rising gas prices that are forecast to be as high as $6.00 a gallon by summer leaving them little money to pay their other bills or buy food for their families and the council wants to spend money for a park for dogs. Our city council, except for John Crescimbeni who voted a very sane NO, is apparently totally oblivious of what totally unfavorable economic times we are in and the financial situation our city is in to boot.

I would highly recommend writing to your representative and letting them know what a foolish use of your tax dollars this doggy park is, and perhaps letting them know what is going on in the real world as many on our city council are not in the real world.  Please also write to John Crescimbeni and thank him for his NO vote!
Let us hope when this bill goes before the whole council for a final vote, some of our council members have re-entered the real world our city and it's taxpayers are living in, and it isn't one of enough discretionary funds to build another dog park and then find the money to  maintain it annually!
There was one Councilmember on the side of the Taxpayer

Bill Bishop voted yea                 John Crescimbei Voted NO
Richard Clark voted yea
Clay Yarborough voted yea
Bill Gulliford voted yea
Warren Jones voted yea
Greg Anderson
voted yea

This, as the Council Auditors tells them there is millions of dollars in revenue that needs to be found. That either means tax increases or additional cuts to something. These Councilmembers voted to add additional expenses with a DOG PARK.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
