Patricia-- the attempt by the Paul delegates to as you said "hijack" the proceedings at the convention were about the exact thing they criticize others --power.  Power and control.  Paul was in the primaries, appeared in the debates, had the same opportunity to win as did all the other candidates.  He lost and then began his manipulation after each primary to screw with the delegates for power. Paul ran in three presidential campaigns and lost.  Perhaps the public spoke? Three strikes you're out?  Move on.  Concentrate on the present.

This election is important.  The members of the FCTP can continue to in-fight about it all and post negative comments for all the NEW members to form opinion through OR they can take on a positive, energetic stance for the next 75+ days and move to elect Romney and defeat the incumbent.  It is the choice we make.  Or, of course, the member can stay home and not vote then complain, or vote for an obscure third party write in, the Green Party, or whomever they like - but in the end there is one choice to make, do you want to defeat Obama?

For me, I will take the positive, energetic approach to defeat this incumbent because that is my choice.  My goal is to defeat the incumbent.  I will work to improve our current system one election at a time. I will not waste precious time.   There are many blogs out there who are interested in defeating the incumbent - I was hoping FCTP was one.  Anyone want to join me in the fight to defeat President Obama?  I hope so!

Roma, the problem I have is you are doing what you accuse them of as well. Many of us have said we do not support Ron Paul repeatedly. I have indicated I support Romney. I am aware of what happened at the convention, but I am also aware of why it happened. Our country is at a juncture and someone planned to disrupt the convention and steal the nomination from the person who won the primary. I understand you don't see it that way, but I will not be told I HAVE to support Ron Paul either and pretty much that was the intent of the Ron Paul supporters................so how are you or your group any better when you spout how they separate us and how we should all support someone we don't support and how your group tied to hijack the convention and have a candidate who did not win the primaries forced on us against our will. How is that really going to help our country get rid of Obama or isn't that important to Ron Paul supporters? I don't understand when this is the most important election of our lives why you want to force a candidate on me and so many others that we could not support in the primary?

Our FIRST & FOREMOST goal MUST be to remove the Obama administration, THEN & ONLY then, can we even BEGIN to instill more Conservative policies. If you can't vote for Romney, then vote AGAINST Obama. If you don't know why I'm saying this, go and see the movie "2016." In NO WAY is Romney anything like Obama. Our country's condition took years to get to this point, but Obama is here to finish us off. We oust him, and through on going cycles of elections, we hold the Republicans in a stranglehold to stay the Conservative course. It WILL take a while, but MOST certainly, the removing of Obama is a no-brainer to start our work. If he is left in office, it WILL be the end of our Representative Republic. If you don't vote him out, you are part of the problem in aiding him to stay.

I disagree, right now Bob Graham is fear mongering voters that another "hanging chad" election could happen in Fla.  Graham is brother-in-law of late ultra-liberal Katherine Meyer Graham, owner and publisher of the Washington Post newspaper with her husband, the late Phillip Graham.  He would toe the DemocRAT party line today just as Senator Bill Nelson does if he were serving in office and be a big BaROKE OWEbumbler supporter.  DemocRATS no longer have any conservative issues in their platform, it is dominated by marxists and George Soros minions--I've been a registered democrat for 40 years--this party no longer represents anything our Founding Fathers stood for.

Ken, I would disagree with you on one thing. Bob Graham was a fine governor, widely respected senator and a serious man. He took his job seriously. He could to this day whip any person in this state in ajy election. He was about doing what was best for his state and his country. He is a fine man.

Ken, if you or I were members of Congress I know for certain the leadership could not shut us up!  I would wear their disdain as a badge of honor.

Passive resistance is not the American way.  The only it time it was successful was when Dr. Martin Luther King used it to force change in civil rights.  I don't count the student led "sit-ins" and "be-ins" during the 60s because most of them eventually turned violent.  Although I admire Ghandi, I don't really see Americans getting out a spinning wheel and making cloth.

A sea change in American attitudes towards the overarching power of the federal government is what is needed to start a revolution back to fundamental Constitutional government.  The Tea Party as a whole got that change started and we need to keep it going.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
