DATA COLLECTION ON YOU!!!!

As you are aware there are many companies that have collected personal data on us for 30+ years. One of these is Spokeo.  If you go to:  www.spokeo.com and type in your name, it may pull up boxes to the left of all the places you have lived in the past 30-50 years!!!!!  Click on each of the cities, see if this is really you.  There are many things about removing yourself from Skopeo that are not fun.  I tried removing me about a month ago and completely gave up.  They are supposed to allow THREE REMOVALS at one time, they didn't with me.  So, I would suggest that you pick the top three of importance, click on the number one important address and copy the URL in the web browser. Once you have copied that, scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the word PRIVACY, click on it.  Scroll down to the bottom of the PRIVACY page and you will find three blank rectangles.  The first one, you will paste the URL that you just copied into that box. The second box is for a valid email address and the third box is to fill in those letters and numbers to verify that it's you.  As of a year ago they would only allow three removals and then you would have to wait three months to remove any more.  I gave up this last time and hired Reputation to do it for me. You may have to create some new email accounts in the meantime because once you max out at three removals, the site remembers the email address you used and will not allow you to use it again.  Good Luck!!!!!
