Some of the amenndments on my mail-in ballot are quite confusing.  Will the FCTP be posting any info on the best way to vote on these so we don't make some mistakes that hurt ourselves and our community? Also, is there is any pro-con info on the judges and others where no party affiliation is mentioned?  I would hate to vote for some flaming liberal by mistake!

Diane, Kris Anne Hall is a constitutional attorney who teaches, has a radio show, and is a total expert and was an assistanct district attorney before she started doing what she is now.  She has gone to great length to explain each amendment in relation to the constitution etc.  Go to her page here, and you can read her info and decide how you want to vote.  http://www.krisannehall.com/index.php/blog    Both the Duval County Christian coalition and Restore Justice recommend voting "do not retain" for all three Florida Supreme Court justices (Lewis, Pariente, and Quince).  Non partisan decision; they have been activist and taken away the rights of all (no matter the party or ideology).  The other judges marked as liberal/or activist on the Duval County Christian Voter guide are District 1 Marstiller, District 4 Carol Taylor.  They recommend Mairs, Circuit 4, Group1, Mark Borello, Circuit 4, Group 22, John Merrett, Circuit 4, Group 34 and as Country Judge Michelle Kalil.  You can also find the voter guide on line if you want to take a look at it.  I don't agree with them on the amendments and voted no for 1 or 2 of them (I think it was 2).  Hope that helps once you have looked around a bit.   I think this is the info you were looking for ?

To change our state's constitution it should be something we consider at great length. None of the amendments that I reviewed met muster. That they do not belong in our constitution, these should be handled by our elected leaders and they face the consequences of their votes. That is how representative democracies work. These ballot measures are farsical.

Diane, information will be going up under Candidate Research on the amendments shortly. They continue to add information to that tab as it is complete.. About the amendments we must always be careful as if they are voted in they become part of the State's constitution and to reverse any of it takes years. If You belong to a community group in the area you live in you might want to go to their next meeting. They have had some great speakers addressing this issue.  Judges as well will be put up on the site.. Hope it helps, if not get back with me out here.  Leanne

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
