I must share this and if we, all like minded folks, were to be like this to one another, then we could overcome those that want to run over us.  May 25th my son had my car in Mandarin, it broke down and was pushed into the Mandarin Senior Citizens Center.  After trying for about 2 1/2 hrs to jump it off, we decided at 9:30 p.m. to leave it there until the next day when we could get a new battery.  When we got back the next day at around 5:15, it was gone.  Called the police, they had no record of it being towed, was written up as stolen and after lots of trouble and a week later, the guy that had towed my car from the Senior Center called the police station to ask why hadn't someone called in for their car?  Good news - my car is recovered, but you will never guess what is happening to the fellow that called to ask why no one was calling in about it.  He is being hounded by the JSO for not calling in the tow when it happened.  But, the thing about it is he did call it in when he got the call from the center.   Another thing, the Center is public property and they have to give 72 hrs warning about an abandoned auto (red/orange stickers you see on cars) before towing one.  So now, I'm trying to get Fred at C&L Automotive and towing, 4990 Philips Hwy out of having to go to court.  I've had to write a letter to the officer who went to C & L and told them that they were going to press charges against them for towing a vehicle without authority.  First I called and ask the officer to drop this and he said that once it reached him, someone was going to court.  C&L didn't charge me for the tow or the storage for the week and one reason is because he said that all the stickers that I have on the back of my car, he knew that something mechanical or hopefully not, bad had happened because we were like minded people.  I have "I am We the People", "I see Debt, people", Fair Tax, "Stand up, be American", and a few others on the back.  But folks, if you work near this place, give them your business, they're honest, hard working people that believe like we do.  They even give GOP discounts, can you believe it?  Their number is 730-4661.  I'm not related to these folks, this is not a MLM scheme, or anything else along those lines that you could think of.  It's was just one good American Co. (C & L) doing something good for someone else (ME)!!  Thank you, C&L Automotive and towing.
