CALL TO ACTION: LAME DUCK IS MORE LAME THAN EVER!

We apologize for two emails in one day but this is very important.  We need you to call Congress today and we have made it easy for you to do so. 

 

Why?

 

Harry Reid has promised no one will go home until they get the “work of the people” done.  Who is Harry kidding?  We don’t want them to do any of the bills they are trying to pass through.  None of them!

 

First:  The Tax Hike Bill.  This bill was supposed to keep our taxes at the same level as they are now.  Unfortunately, these sneaky jerks have added a bunch of other bills to this and we don’t want it passed now.  Do not play games with us!

 

                 ACTION:  Shut down the Government if we must!  We don’t care if that happens and when January 3^rd rolls around, we can open for business again.  Go to:  http://www.gopetition.com/petition/41443.html and sign the petition now.  We must get this sent through the internet and we ask you to alert your email and facebook friends about this petition.

 

Second:  The START Treaty.  Stop the START Treaty now.  This is a treaty between Russia and the United States and will keep us from protecting ourselves.  Russia is not a good guy.  See James Carafano’s blog about Russia at http://www.heritage.org/Research/Factsheets/Top-10-Reasons-Not-to-T.... 

 

                ACTION:  Sign the Petition at www.libertycentral.org insisting that the START Treaty be renegotiated.

 

Third:  The Nightmare before Christmas Act aka the DREAM Act.  Washington likes to name bills with sweet sounding words so we can be duped into believing it is a sweet deal.  This one is NOT.  It gives Amnesty to the children of illegal aliens.  Their parents have broken the law and now we are rewarding their behavior by allowing their children full access to our services and college grants, etc.  This is not fair and it is not right.  It is basically a back-door Amnesty bill.

Fourth:  The Great Big, Massive, Horrendous Spending Bill known as the Omnibus Bill.  What a debacle this one is!  If you knew what was in it, you would be heading to DC right now with signs and pitchforks in your hands.  This is a slap in the face of the American people who voted to stop spending on November 2^nd.  They are ignoring our pleas and will be forever known as the worst Congress in the history of the United States.  Each of their names will be listed as traitors to the Constitution.

While you are signing the petition, you will see the phone numbers of your Representatives.  Please pick up the phone and call them TODAY.   Let them know you will not tolerate a Yes Vote on any of these bills and they must do all they can to stop all of them.  You want them to do the hard stuff and stand firm.  Nothing less will make the people happy.

During a time when our hearts and desires on set on the joyousness of God coming to earth in flesh, the politicians are terrorizing our freedoms.  Lame duck sessions should be outlawed and allowed only for the purpose to fund the military or declare war period!  Lawmakers kicked out of office should not be allowed to give the citizens lumps of coal for Christmas.  God will allow us to overcome any circumstance thrown at us, God bless and Merry Christmas!

They depend on us to cling to our God, guns and traditions and to be so busy with those at Christmas- time that we will be apathetic to what is going on in D. C.  They are wrong!  We made a strong statement in November but they were not interested in saving the bacon of their more moderate members and threw many of them "under the bus" and spent their energy in the construct of this behemoth Omnibus Bill slap in the face and a reprise of the disrespect for another Christian holiday.
