Just The Facts:

Police report filed on stolen Schellenberg signs April 28^th; they were discovered in a retention pond behind the Bealls department store at the corner of San Jose and Orange Picker in Mandarin.  This is the SAME place the signs were found discarded during the primary elections in March.

Webb responds to Scott Johnson’s questions with regards to the accusation “I got a campaign to run.  This is just ridiculous, scandalous and ridiculous. To be accused of such stuff is silliness and ridiculous.”

There is established within the Department, as an autonomous component thereof, a Planning Commission (hereafter referred to as "Commission") consisting of nine members, and three alternates, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council for a term of three years. Of the nine members and three alternates, one member shall be appointed from and shall be continuously throughout his term a resident of each City Planning District, and three members and the three alternates shall be appointed at-large and shall be residents of the city during their entire terms; provided, however, that the member from the Urban Core Planning District shall be a resident of, or own a business in, that District; failure to retain these qualifications shall automatically remove the person not qualified from serving as a member or alternate . The three alternates shall either be former Planning Commission members or former City Council members who have served on the Land Use and Zoning Committee of the City Council. Members and alternates shall be appointed for three-year staggered terms (except appointments to fill vacancies). No member shall serve for more than two consecutive full terms; but appointments to fill vacancies for unexpired terms and initial appointments under the preceding sentence for less than three years shall not be deemed to be full terms. A member or alternate may be removed by the Mayor during his term, with the approval of the Council. A vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment, for the unexpired term. Members shall serve without compensation, but shall be entitled to travel expense reimbursement in accordance with Part 7, Chapter 106. The provisions of F.S. § 286.012, as amended from time to time, shall apply to each member and alternate of the Commission.

Rhonda, I used exactly the same word, "Troll," that's been used for many years online to describe people who come on a website to agitate and cause trouble. I published a website for several years and that was common terminology, that you can find all over the internet. If you're so sensitive, you'll never make it as a "troll." Better sharpen up your information before you start name-calling and smearing others. If you support Jack Webb, or his good friend Tony Hemmerly, for whom the JSO is seeking a warrant for his allegedly taking and dumping Matt Schellenberg's signs, you won't likely find any "friends" on this website.

Since you support Jack Webb, and before you make false accusations about Matt Schellenberg, you need to check out the Florida and federal criminal statutes first, for publishing material false statements online is a computer crime.

Further, nobody has an obligation to debate candidates who engage, either directly or through their friends, in unauthorized removal and dumping their opponent's election signs... or to even give that person an audience. Matt Schellenberg is a highly principled and ethical person, his time is valuable, and there's no compelling reason why he should waste it. Go troll under your own bridge... or hiss in your own pit... Either will do.

Troll is the correct term, you can not trust them as far as you can roll them, Trolls are creepy, period. Clarify what you are suggesting that you have seen on Matt's campaign? Let's be open, honorable and truthful. What wouldn't you put pass his campaign? Attacking Jack Webb supporters verbally and in groups? Stealing Jack Webb's signs? WHY? It is just easier to tell people the truth, they see what is going on in neighborhoods, in mine, that thievery has recruited more support for Matt. When people hear or see Webb's supporters verbally assaulting Matt's supporters, they see the truth. People prefer truth over lies. People see what Jack Webb has done in the city council, the tax hikes, the fee hikes and all the other policies, bills and laws that he supports and passed. His actions speak a LOT louder than words. IT is what it is. People prefer truth, honesty and honor not the opposite. Funny thing also, why is a volunteer group for a candidate a closed group? Wouldn't that be breaking the SUNSHINE LAW?

How liberal of you to try to make trolling (and that is exactly the term I wanted thank you very much) on this closed site less nasty by trying to sling mud on me.  Won't work my dear.  Juvenile is what you are doing and actually it sort of smacks of stealing signs (or listening in on personal phone calls or any of those other things people with zero principles do).   And no, Rhonda, the web site is not marked Volunteers for Jack Webb, it is marked "Jack Webb for Jacksonville City Council District 6" which would look and smell like a campaign site to almost any person looking for his campaign site and it is toted as his campaign site in other places along with a twitter page as well (or maybe the twitter one is also an unmarked volunteer site too?

J. R. and Patricia, name calling is so juvenile and only makes you look bad. I believe the term you're looking for is mole not troll, and that is usually done in secret. I'm quite open in my support for Jack, and just exercising my right to express my opinion even though it differs from yours, so I don't need to do the type of things you suggest. All I said is that if anyone wants to access the Facebook page set up for volunteers it is quite easy to do. You could easily have someone else do it. After the things I've seen in Matt's campaign, I wouldn't put anything passed them. But once again, The Great Mandarin Sign Caper takes the attention away from the fact that Matt won't debate and has nothing positive to offer, only sound bite generalizations that the uninformed masses gobble up.

Looks like maybe the Rhonda troll came on this site to encourage people to go to Jack Webb's site and "friend" him for a nefarious purpose. If you did go there and "friend" Webb, what would stop him from having the stinky T-U publish your name as one of his "friends." Or give your e-mail address to his union and OfA carpetbagger "friends."  Just let Rhonda troll and Tony Hemmerly be his "friends." Of course, he might have abandoned Tony, now that the JSO is after him.  Can't you just hear Webb now, "Tony WHO?"

I agree Patricia, Jack Webb is picking and choosing who he wants to be surround by and keeping it all closed. So IF someone should disagree... we ALL know how that works. A elected representative is serving in the peoples' seat and should not be a closed book, first sign that something is not right, honorable or truthful.

Rhonda, anyone can visit a facebook page even if they are not a friend.  I don't always go to pages to post comments, but no one but those who have asked to be allowed can get onto a closed page.  That says something really strange when a public servant running for office does it.

And a troll on this site.  Sorry Rhonda, unlike you, I have principles!  I would look at his page if it was open, but I don't go make friends or ask to be accepted on a closed site just to be nosy (to me it falls at about the same level as stealing someone else's signs).  Gee did the legal advise in your blog come from any lawyer we know????  And now, you can go back and report that we are talking about what has happened but as your other post says, you should be careful what you take with you or say :)

 

And Rhonda, politicians trying to attrack supporters don't usually have closed pages; we like to hope they will be open in all things....................
