Ander Crenshaw Who is Donald Berwick?

Hello Fellow Patriots,

Last night I was a caller on the live radio chat with Representative Ander Crenshaw.

He is hoping, if the Republicans can win a majority in the House, that he and a few colleagues can file to repeal the Health Care Plan, as currently passed.

I asked him if the Republican plan is to be paid for on the backs of "senior citizens, as the current plan.

I also asked him "What do you think about the Donald Berwick issue"?

He responded by saying he did not know Donald Berwick, he also said the Repubican plan did not cut $500 billion out of medicare. He did not say how much is planned to be cut in the new plan. I was amazed to hear he diod not know the man that is in charge of Medicare and Medicaid, he was the "recess appointment" made by the President during a congressional recess.,

Mr. Crenshaw is supposed to be one of the best, it escapes me why he did not know who heads Medicare and Medicaid.

Again, something to remember in November.

He is a co sponsor of the Republican health care plan, I was interested to find out if their plan continues massive cuts in Medicare and Medicaid.
I wrote him afterward to remind him who Donald Berwick is and that he may have temporaily forgotten his name.
Have not heard back from his office as yet.

Tom, do you suppose he meant he didn't personally know Berwick when you were actually asking about the recess appointment and the Berwick philosophy as it applies to medical care (as in he likes the archaic English system which is horrid and being phased out)? Although I am not making excuses for anyone, it could have been a misunderstanding as the question could have been taken 2 ways. I have also heard there is a bill going around congress right now to repeal Obamacare in it's entirety and would wonder if Mr. Crenshaw is signed on for it. They have over 150 signatures and need 218. I had heard all the republicans had signed it, so Mr. Crenshaw (being a republican) would have signed the bill. Did Crenshaw say anything about town hall meetings?
