Perry is only human.I don't hold the mistake against him.I laughed actually.Especially after he said he stepped in it on the morning talk shows.

I guess you've never mispoke a day in your life right?

I will say one thing, Perry sure whipped out a large can of stupid last night and put it on display for everyone. Holy moly! If it isn't clear to everyone here by now it should be, this is Romney's campaign to lose. There was no one, no one ekse on that stage last that looked as though he or she could be president. You can like Herman Cain all you want, but he isn't portraying himself in a presidential manner. His press conference denying the charges maded against him, he continually referred to himself in the third person and again last night. Who does that?

Bartolomo threw Newt softballs that he refused to hit. Paul says great things but 16% is close to his ceiling. Huntsman, Bachmann, Santorum are basically just chances for the other candidates to have a drink of water and scratch thenselves off camera.

Ugh, Romney. Ugh!

Mrs. Parrett

You know I wrote a couple of different retorts back to you but in the end I decided against trying to engage you with ideas and honest conversation.  You are not able to carry on a conversations without insults, personal and untrue accusations, and mis-characterization of things I say.  I never said to instill the values of doing drugs into children.  Read entire comments before you write your comments in reply.

You continue to bring my family into our conversation and make comments about my wife.  Making it seem like she is up at the school telling kids to do drugs because we think that the government should legalize drugs.  If you stopped to think about your position on drugs you would find that it is against the very idea of liberty that the Tea Party is supposed to be about.  You want less government but you are saying that government should make choices that are better and more rightly left up to families.

You can write back whatever you would like I won't see it I will no longer be commenting in this thread and any thread I see you in I will leave that thread as well.  You are not able to carry on grown up conversations and I deal with enough people like you in my life I am not going to do it somewhere I don't have to.

Mrs. Parrett

No I don't take ignorant things that people say about black people as insulting to my wife or kids.  She is an individual which is how I see her not as all black people.  I also don't take ignorant things black people say about white people as a personal assault on me either.  If we let stupid things that people say about us or the funny looks we get from some people in both groups we would always be upset.  We think It is better to laugh about it.

I understand why you got upset I dislike dirty trick and I think it is horrible politics I am not voting for Ron Paul's supporters to be President I'm voting for him.  He never advocates violence in any way unless you are defending yourself, your property, or someone else so that is why I never quite understand his supporters making unnecessary comments.  I think he has the best ideas and peoples views of his supporters makes them not even want to listen to what he says which is a shame.

You are obviously very strongly against the topic of drugs and all I'll say is I'm in favor of it.  It is something that families should instill in the kids it is not the governments job to instill values in a child.  That is what someones view on drugs is a value decision.  I don't want the government being involved in values.  Now if someone commits another crime while they are intoxicated that they should have the book thrown at them but the simple act of having and using drugs should not be illegal.

She thinks it should be legal to so it was not really an issue with us that I want it to be legal.  Our view on if pot should be legal or illegal doesn't change what we tell them about drugs.  I have no problem explaining to my children my views on things so they understand why I think the way I do.  They probably couldn't verbalize it like an adult but they understand the basic concept when we talk about it.

Mrs. Parrett you are views are strange to me.  On one hand you talk down about Ron Paul supporters for personally insulting Cain supporters while at the same time personally insulting Ron Paul supporters by calling them trolls.

Now you come out condemning Ron Paul supporters for saying they would write in Ron Paul because that could be the difference in a GOP candidate winning or losing (which I actually agree with you on that point which is why I would not write in Ron Paul).  But you won't vote for Ron Paul for your own reasons, which is perfectly fine for you to have  If Ron Paul was the nominee your vote could be the one that wins or loser the election for him.  It is fine that you have your convictions but why are your convictions more important then theirs.  I personally applaud all people that have strong convictions because so many don't but why can't Ron Paul hold their strong convictions without being insulted.  Do you not see how you're condemnations of others are some of the same actions that you do personally.  You talk about being a good example for your children don't you think your words and actions should match.

As far as marijuana being legal.  Ron Paul thinks it should be legal because the government shouldn't be the one that dictates morals and personal choices not because it is a good thing to do.  At most as President he would make it legal in regards to federal law but he would leave it open for the states to make their own choices.  You know the idea of states rights that old 10th amendment that is so often forgot when people on both sides think it is the governments job to tell people how to live.  Just so it is perfectly open I also support the legalization of drugs.

@Steve to answer the question you posed about voting, if it came down to a vote between Obama and Ron Paul I would definately vote for Ron.Most of Pauls ideas are a closer fit to my own than Obamas EVER would be.Thats not to say I don't disagree with some things but I wouldn't DARE sit out this election or write in another candidate when we have so much on the line.Obama is a disaster. He must be removed from office before he can cause any more damage. That is why I'm taking so much time to investigate the pros and cons of all the candidates.I still have not settled on who I will support as of yet.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
