AFP Legislative Alert: HB 1063 & SB 760 To Repeal Local Business Taxes
TAKE ACTION: TELL THE LEGISLATURE TO REPEAL LOCAL BUSINESS TAXES
The Florida Legislature has stalled two very important bills – HB 1063 by Rep. Marlene O’Toole and SB 760 by Sen. Alan Hays. These bills will repeal the current statutory authority that allows local governments to implement taxes on anyone who operates or engages in business in their jurisdiction. These local business taxes currently amount to a $164 million tax each year for Florida’s businesses.
These taxes are bad for business and bad for jobs. They need to be repealed.

It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening!
