ACTION ITEM: Calls needed today and tomorrow to DEFUND AMNESTY

CALLS AND EMAILS NEEDED TODAY AND TOMORROW

DEFUND AMNESTY

The only way to stop the president's lawlessness and halt the implementation of Executive Amnesty is to defund it.

The House passed Rep. Ted Yoho's bill last week addressing the president's overreach on Executive Amnesty, but this purely symbolic vote is unlikely to ever reach the Senate floor.

The Republican-controlled House can attach a defund rider to the "must pass" funding bill expected to be voted on as early as this Wednesday. The rider would prevent the administration from using any funds or resources to implement the President’s executive actions. This strategy would put Senate Democrats in an untenable position and force Harry Reid and the President to choose between protecting their lawless amnesty initiatives and funding all other areas of government. This bill would have the full force and effect of the power of the purse—the House’s constitutional recourse for responding to the administration— which countless conservative voices have called for.

Even the Washington Post editorial board has come forward to denounce the President’s move as indefensible, an act that “flies in the face of congressional intent.”

Now is the time to fight. Our representatives should not be afraid of forcing the President into a confrontation that he himself invited. A funding limitation rider on the imminent must-pass legislation is the only acceptable way to defend the Constitution and restore the rule of law.

Call to Action: This battle can still be won, but we must act fast. A vote on a funding bill is likely to come on Wednesday. Contact your representatives, tell them to insist on a rider that defunds the president's unlawful Executive Amnesty be attached or else urge them to vote NO, and remind them that conservatives across the country expect them to do better!

Heritage Action will key vote against the bill unless it contains legislative language that stops the implementation of the President’s unlawful amnesty program.

Call during business hours today and tomorrow. Follow up with an email. You can use our Action Dashboard to get their contact information.

I called Crenshaw but got Yoho - they took my message & transferred me to Crenshaw's office.  She said they had been receiving "some" calls.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
