#8 "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM" ... is it really a good bill or a Pandora's Box?

I STRONGLY DISAGREE, per your voting suggestions, in supporting #8 "Religious Freedom" on the ballet. We like to think in terms of supporting Christian based faiths, but this amendment is POORLY WORDED - OPENS THE DOOR to tax payer funds being ALSO used to support MUSLIM MOSQUES & ANYTHING deemed a "religion" or "sect" Here's what it says... ".. providing that no individual or entity may be denied, on the basis of religious identity or belief, governmental benefits, except as required by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, and deleting the prohibition against using revenues from the public treasury directly or indirectly in aid of ANY CHURCH, SECT, OR RELIGIOUS DENOMINATION or in aid of any sectarian institution." ALSO: when tax payer's monies are used to support religion, gov is therefore involved, which starts to dictate & control what a church can do/not do, say/not say. We need to keep gov. OUT of our churches and I surely DON'T want to pay for mosques or anything someone deems 'religious.'

RETAINING FLA SUPREME COURT JUSTICES:
"NO" (LIBERALS): R. Fred Lewis, Barbara Pariente, Peggy Quince
"Yes" to others

FLA. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS..
#1 - YES -Health Care, prohibit gov force
#2 - YES -Tax breaks to disabled vets due to combat injury
#3 - NO -Replacing State Revenue Limitation
#4 - YES -Property tax limitations
#5 - NO -Confirmation of judges. Gives legislature too much power over the courts. Balance of power best, not judges beholding to the legislature. This allows the legislature to overturn a court decision with a simple majority vote-a short sighted power play.
#6 - YES -Prohibition of public funding of abortion.
#7 - removed from ballot
#8 - NO -Provision of State Funding to religious schools, BADLY WORDED. Would permit state funding for mosques, medrassas, could lead to state control of religious schools depended on state funds & what they can/can't do/say.
#9 - NO -more Homestead exemptions for surviving spouses of military, veteran or first responder. Many benefits already in place, this is a LEGISLATIVE issue, NOT constitutional.
#10 -YES -Tangible personal property tax exemption.
#11 - NO -Homestead exemption for low income seniors. This is how gov. creates another base of dependents on gov/incentive to stay low income for perks while everyone pays. Everyone should have 'skin in the game,' even if paying a little in taxes.
#12 - NO -University System Appointments.

Volusia County School Board Referendum - NO - 2nd highest taxed county in Fl, "need more education for our money, not more money for education." www.SpruceCreekPatriots.com

It is a rank effort to circumvent the First Amendment. None of the ballot proposals are worth a tinkers damn. Vote no on all. And the notion that a separate Supreme Court is a joke. A total joke. As for keeping the judges, I am not vertain. But I know one thing, it is a problem when we start changing judges everytime a differnet person assumes the governort's mansion. Bad precedent. I do not want rubberstamps for any administration. Good thing when the courts check the power of runaway execs.

All legitimate gatherings of faith are not a concern to me. The practice of using mosques or churches to foment cultural or political change does disturb me. Yet, I sense big trouble with this amendment. If government becomes involved with churches or mosques, you can bet our freedom of worship will erode.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
