Hello everybody. My Mimi does not know I am writing this blog for her today. She’s pretty tired and I heard last night that all her friends in the tea party are really tired too.
When my Mimi became a tea party founder, I was a baby – only 18 months old. Now I am very big -- I’m 3 years old. I have a new baby sister too. She’s 1 year old.
We are having a lot of fun growing up and my mom and dad are really great parents. I have seen Mimi and her tea party on TV a lot in the last year and I love to see all those pretty flags flying in the wind. I like the yellow flag too except that snake is a little scary.
I see my parents reading Drudge Report every day, they watch Mr. Beck, and they keep in touch with Mimi on her blogs. Blog is a funny word and I like to say it. "Blog ,Blog, Blog" – sounds like "frog."
My mommy and daddy are really worried about our country. I hear them talking about it when I go to bed and they think I am sleeping. Daddy has a good job and works long hours. Mommy stays home with us and takes us to all those fun things kids get to do. She reads to us and plays with us and we are really tired (like the tea party people) at night when we go to bed.
Mommy and Daddy were talking about my friend's house and how it is upside down. It scared me because I like my house right side up and I wish someone would fix it my friend's house. I bet Daddy or my Poppy will do it because they can do anything. I went on a roller coaster one time and when you are upside down, it is scary. I don’t want my house to be scary.
Daddy said that the unemployment figures are up way high. I don’t know what unemployment is but it sounds bad. The only time I like to be high is when Daddy throws me in the air and catches me when I come back down. I hope Daddy will be able to catch these unemployments soon. I trust Daddy to do that because he has never failed me ever.
I heard Mimi tell Mommy one day that I owed the "gubmint" a lot of money. Mimi and Mommy said it was more than all the money in the whole world and since I'm only a little kid I don't know what to do about that. I hope the "gubmint" will do something about that debt stuff so I don't have to pay it when I am big. My piggy bank is not big and it sounds like I need a bigger one... Mr. Obama said he would give us some hope and change so I am hoping he will put some change in my piggy bank soon. I am worried about this debt thing and wish I knew what it was.
I’m just a little kid and I have my future ahead of me. I sure hope Mimi and her tea party friends will take back that House next Tuesday. Why would someone want to steal the people’s House from us? I hope they get those bad guys who did that and I hope they don’t come and take my friend's house because it is upside down. Thinking about that makes me sad because I know my friend will be sad too.
I get to be with Mimi’s tea party friends next Tuesday after everyone votes. Voting is a big deal and people in other countries get a purple finger (I like purple) when they vote. We get stickers in America and I like stickers too. I hope we sing those songs that make us feel good. When we do, people yell and wave the flags and it is so pretty to see. Tea Party people are funny. They love to sing songs about America and they do a lot of high fiving.
I haven’t been here in America very long. I came straight down from heaven and I pulled the good card from God’s hands.. Right before I was born, He told me to pick a card and when I did, my card was Red, White and Blue. He said that I picked the best one on the whole earth and I would be able to live there. What a great game that was. I was so excited to be special and now that I am here, I want the Red/White/Blue country to be happy special like God said it was. Sometimes I don’t think people know how special America is but I do because God told me it was.
I have a long time on this earth and I am crossing my fingers that the tea party will be there for me when I am a bigger girl. They have a lot of fun, they party all the time, and they are happy people. For now I will pretend and have my baby dolls at my tea party in my playroom. But when I grow up, I will be a tea party person just like Mimi.
I love Mimi and she loves the USA. She has been crying a lot lately and I asked her why? She said she was so sad for our country and was worried about this election thing next week. I told her not to worry because God told me He was going to fix everything. Just like I trust Daddy to catch me, I trust God to catch America in a big hug as we fall into his lap.
You adults are so funny. You forgot who is in charge. That’s because you have been here so long and I am fresh from heaven and can still remember His smile.
Signed with love and kisses, Mimi’s M&M girls
P.S. – Baby sends her love too but she is too little to sign her name. She is really fresh from heaven and thinks you are all very silly people because you worry so much.
