I have taught in the public school system for some time, and I have not feared for our youths' education until now. Maybe the rose colored glasses fell of this year and I realized how ugly things were in our broken education system. The states have to find a way to disband the DOE established by Jimmy Carter (another great policy he introduced in his beautiful presidential career). In addition, we face the challenge of getting rid of the "No Child Left Behind Act" established by George Bush. This legislation looks good on paper, but it is an educator's nightmare in the classroom. Florida faces a hard challenge with education because of our high level of immigrants who do not know our history, our language, our heritage, or our culture. The progresives will feast on the uneducated like a parasite, if we do not reconstruct our education in Florida. History is changing, our founders are made to look like racists and morally corupt vagabonds. Moreover, our Constitution is completely ignored in most classrooms. If we are not careful our youth will be learning that big government is good for them and that Mao was a misunderstood revolutionary. I cannot teach in a classroom in which Andy Stern of SEIU is prized over George Washington. I am contemplating on running for school board in the upcoming years; if not sooner. I have my ideas on what could be done, however, I would love to hear your thoughts on the issue.

Good for you!!!!  The time is NOW, wish you would have run this time because Jason Fischer is the only good one on the board right now!!!  He needs help to stand up for TRUTH!!! Jason is standing strong, but they vote him down over and over.   Hopefully the Tea Party will get with you and get you ready to run next time.  I am helping Jay Fant in Dist.15, he is running for Danial Davis old seat. I say old because Danial isn't running again so it was an open seat.  We truly need many Real Americans to stand up and run for office.  Turn your self in and help the Tea Party!!!  They will tell you how to run for office!
