Event Description

First Coast Tea Party is partnering with American Majority Racing to both Get Out The Vote and register voters for the 2012 election.

First Coast Tea Party has a great opportunity to have a presence and help with voter registration.  This is a week long event.  If you like racing and love your country, please consider volunteering some of your time for this effort.

American Majority Racing

Thank you for your interest in partnering with American Majority Racing to make certain that our fellow citizens are registered and mobilized to vote in 2012. By encouraging Americans to Pledge To Vote, we are helping Keep America Free by making the voice of citizens heard loud and clear that the spending spree in Washington, DC must end and fiscal sanity must be restored. Please take a moment to register for a volunteer shift at the upcoming Daytona 500 race in Daytona, FL.
The target dates that we are looking to recruit volunteers for are Saturday, February 18th through Saturday, February 25th.
Here are some other key details for you to know about:
* Each partnering grassroots organization that recruits volunteers will be entitled to a grant from American Majority, the size of which will be determined by how many volunteers you recruit. We will make sure to let you know how many of volunteers sign up from your organization so that we can credit your group accordingly.
* All volunteers will receive a FREE American Majority Racing team t-shirt.
* The top volunteer each day will receive a ticket to the race.

American Majority will have all the proper authorization from the state of Florida to conduct voter registration—and unlike ACORN—we strictly abide by and observe all rules regarding voter registration.

We are expecting a huge surge of both NASCAR fans and members of the media this Thursday, Feb. 23rd and Friday, Feb 24th at the American Majority Racing booth, and we could really use some extra volunteers to help make the effort as successful as possible. We would really appreciate it if you could make one final push to try and get some volunteers from your organization to join us for one or both of these days. We have plenty of volunteers for Saturday and are no longer recruiting for that date.

Here are the times that we are looking for additional volunteers on those two dates:

Thursday, Feb. 23rd:   9am-1pm

Friday, Feb. 24th:        9am-1pm

Friday, Feb. 24th:        1pm-5pm

Friday, Feb. 24th:         4pm-8pm

As always, lunch and t-shirts will be provided. If any of your members would like to sign up for Thursday or Friday, they can simply respond to me via phone/email or signup at: www.AmericanMajority.org/volunteer.

Please contact me anytime if you have any questions or need further information. Thanks

Sincerely,

Martin Gillespie

There is still time to sign up, either call the office 683-3945 or email the office at admin@firstcoastteaparty.org with the day you can work and your t-shirt size.

Is there still time to participate in this event??? If so, do I just need to call the number above?

We can help Sat. the 18th, preferrably afternoon &/or evening. I RSVP'd with the American Majority Racing, but not sure if they received it. I haven't heard from them. Thanks!

Pat and Cathy will be able to help on the 19th. Possibly the afternoon but will help any time.

I will be there, possibly Janet will be with me.   We will need more particulars as to where to meet.  I have room for one more passenger if needed.   I am open as to which dates are the best or I can stay down there and camp out for two or three days.  ??Tom Wing 651 6163

The date of the 17th is incorrect. I was under the impression that we had been asked to support 2 specific days. I will check on this and clarify.

I volunteered for the afternoon of the 20th and will ask another lady who may need a ride down there.

I would love to volunteer, would anyone like to carpool from Jax?

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
