Laura Caruso is a Florida native and met her husband Brett at the University of Central Florida. Married for 25 years, they are parents to Kaylyn, a home education graduate and senior honors student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Laura has an extensive home education background and served three years as the Florida State Coordinator for TeenPact Leadership Schools, a nation-wide organization that trains young leaders to combine faith and political understanding to impact the culture. During the 2012 presidential election she was a Field Director for Florida Family Action and shortly afterward began working on the issue of Common Core. Laura has spoken to hundreds of families and community leaders across the state about the dangers of Common Core and also advocates for legislation to protect parental sovereignty over education.

Folks, if any of you have been wanting to learn about Common Core and how it impacts your child's education, this is a good opportunity to learn. H.E.R.I. (Home Education Resource Information) is a Jacksonville Christian based resource for home schoolers. H.E.R.I. has a great library with home school curriculum and does year end testing for home school families. Please forward this email with this information to people interested in learning about Common Core and / or home schooling their children. If you have Facebook or other social media, please post and help get the word out.
H.E.R.I. is partnering with Classical Conversations (Traditional Homeschool Co-op) to bring you information on Common Core. We hope that by the end of the evening you will know what it is and what it means to you. Please invite all of your friends that have children to come and be informed about how these Florida state standards can impact them and the education of their children.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
