Thanks to all that showed up today for the rally. We had about 60 people there and from what I hear the media coverage was good. Many from the First Coast are traveling to DC tonight and my prayers are with them for a safe and successful journey.

I went out after the rally helping a candidate with petitions to get on the ballot and everyone I talked to was supportive of the Tea Party, against this socialist Health Care Bill and eager to get Corrine Brown out of office.

Our country is in grave danger from these people that want to take over our health care and destroy the economy in the process. They have lied about the cost and the consequence and are trying to shove this down our throats using every dirty trick they can.

We must continue to stand up to them and then come 2010 and 2012 remove them from office.

With all that said I just wondered if anyone anywhere had ever seen heard or imagined a Libertarian that ever wanted more government involvement ------no I didn't think so. My guess is a genuine dyed in the wool Obama democrat. Here lately I have little patience and no apologies for anyone that is trying to destroy my children s future through ignorance or not. I get doubly irritated when deception about who they really are is used to come into a discussion, but I suppose that is typical.

Just wanted to thank y'all kindly for the many many personal 'friend request' messages some even apologizing for things said herein by others. Very kind and taken in the finest Southern Tradition.

Having voted Libertarian most of my life I understand the fervor for your positions on this and other matters. I have no secret agenda as accused.

I agree with y'all 99 % of the time.

It it tragic tho when bottom line very good and decent Americans cannot logically discuss issues without being attacked, insulted and demeaned by those with opposing views.

I am NOT fixing to leave my beloved Dixie Land and USA.

And I refuse to enter your gutter level dialogue by suggesting you leave your homeland because of your beliefs.

When useful communications turn to in your face slap down verbal assaults it is time to stop the dialogue. Which in this case is right now.

Mr. Glen Lord, I couldn't agree with you more and Judy please take Glen's advice and move to country where they give you FREE health care. We don't want it, we don't need it and we can't afford it and the Government couldn't successfully run a brothel in TX that they took over, I can't imagine what makes you think that they can manage HEALTH CARE?!?!?! I am with Glen 100%, this is a momentous melt down to disaster if passed. This isn't just about HEALTHCARE, it is about GOVERNMENT taking away our freedom of free will and choice! It wouldn't matter what it is they are attempting to dismantle or take over, NO MORE GOVERNMENT, PERIOD. What I find interesting is this, if you take this same Healthcare Bill and apply it to our beloved pets, our furry children, I think there would be MORE outrage about it then we are currently giving it. Do you actually, ANYONE, trust those idiots in DC to TELL YOU what your pet needs, when your pet can LIVE OR DIE? I am astonished at the ignorance of folks who want this trash. No one is telling me that I must buy into this healthcare plan and then tell me who will give me this care, when, where and how. Judy, Glen was much nicer in his comments to you then I would have been. There is no second thoughts on this bill if you have any logical, intelligent, informed FIRST THOUGHTS!

Look Honey; let me tell you where you are. The Tea Party people are educated and knowledgeable and peddling your wares might be more successful with people who only watch ABC NBC or CBS like you must do on your Toshshiba. You can find them at AFLCIO and ACORN meetings or standing on street corners with signs that say; will work for food.

Maybe you can find someone that can have a conversation you your level of intelligence and knowledge there. I am mean spirited with people that lie to start out with like saying you have "second thoughts" when I think it is obvious there is no thought process going on at all. So take your Christina Applegate act and move wherever you like, but when you want to change my Health Care to suit you don't expect me to be all nicey nicey.

I doubt you have friends anywhere outside the US and probably have never been outside the US. I however have traveled Europe extensively and have friends in Canada, Australia, South Africa, and even Hoboken Georgia. None of that qualifies me to try and change anyone’s health care if they don't want it and neither do you. So if you want the socialist health care it is available in Canada, and most of Europe including Greece where they are rioting in the streets because they are broke like most of Europe.

My suggesting that you move there was merely pointing where you can get what you want; because you ain't gona get it here if we have anything to say about it, which we do.

I have friends all over Canada and none have ever waited over 2 weeks to get to see any doctor they wanted to. Free. Your statement is just fear baiting for the masses that do not know any better and have no friends there.

Your mean spirited statement that if I like European health care I should move there also makes no logical sense kind Sir. I own a Japanese [Toshiba] TV so does that mean I should move to Japan?

Never heard of Charlie Sheen.

Nobody loves our great nation more than I do.

If the health insurance companies had acted more responsibly with our lives I would not now be leaning toward supporting this necessary action.

Your wrath would best be aimed at their multimillionaire CEO's who have so ruthlessly cast aside the life and death needs of the American people rather than individuals like myself who are forced to make this difficult decision in support of health care reform.

Judy have I got a guy for you, have you ever met Charlie Sheen? Personally if you like European Health Care so much --move there. This is European socialism trying to take over our nation. People pull thier own teeth in England because they can't see a dentist. There are waiting lists in Canada that are three years long just to get a general physican. You haven't had second thoughts about health care you have never thought about it at all. A vacation in Europe isn't a qualification to impose their horendous health care on us. We don't want it and will fight at every turn to stop it.

Seems to me like an option of pick your poison here.
The poison of larger government involvement or:
The poison of continuing to be killed by large insurance companies.

Having worked and traveled throughout Europe it is ez2c they have far more available health care coverage at cheaper rates with longer and healthier life spans than we do. Canada also.

How can we say our system is the best when our average lifespans are 38th in the world? Behind Portugal!!

Our system is the very worst compared to the countries in Europe. People are dying here everyday from it.

Who cares if it is 'The Best Medicine in the world' if 2/3 the population cannot afford to go to the hospital?

At least someone is now trying to do something about it.

Much as I HATE big government I have decided to support it but my thinking remains fluid at this point.

Thanks again for all your thoughtful help.

Prediction: Health care reform will pass. Not because Americans want larger government but because it is a matter of life or death for each and every one of us. I choose life.

I worked in Washington D. C. for 35 years. If anybody thinks that any bill congress passes will save any money over any period of time is living in "The Land of Oz" This is NOT abouty health care reform, this is about government take over and big government control ..... pure and simple!!!!!!
