IT'S YOUR TIME: STAND UP FOR FREEDOM

Many of us will stop to celebrate Passover and Easter this weekend. As we do so, we find ourselves at a special place in time in the history of the world.

Like you, I had no idea I would live to see a time such as this. Every day we are bombarded with more stories of corruption and immoral leaders who do not care about you or me or the challenges we are facing. Maybe at one time in their political career they truly cared about doing the right thing for the people. However, special interest groups and others of immoral character showed up in their offices with bags filled with 30 pieces of silver – and you and I were forgotten. George Washington, in his farewell address said, “Occupants of public offices love power and are prone to abuse it.”

We entrusted our politicians to run our government, keep us safe and secure our freedoms. Instead, they are not listening to us, do not care what we think or want, call us names, attack us and even create new armies of IRS agents to force us to comply to legislation that shackles and binds us and forever buries our children with a debt that is unsustainable.

Will America remain that shining city upon the hill? Yes – if YOU will choose to do your civic duty and Stand for Freedom. Samuel Adams said, “If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.”

We have been a blessed nation and millions have crossed the seas to be a part of freedom in America. Will you stand tall and protect it from those within who want to take it down? “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” – Abraham Lincoln

Take time to reflect this weekend about the sacrifices made from those who have gone before us and who fought for us -- to ensure our freedom and liberty.

Make a decision to Stand Up For Freedom and bring your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to the Jacksonville Landing, April 15th at 5:30 for the Stand Up For Freedom Rally. Our forefathers fought hard and signed their name to declare independence for us. What will you do to secure it for your children, your grandchildren and those who will come after us? Will you leave a legacy that said you stood for freedom for them?

Enjoy this video and music and listen intently to the words. May this be our prayer as we celebrate true freedom given to us by our Creator God.

Wow! This will be a great opportunity (and rejuvenating) for like minded people to celebrate and make a statement against tyranny. As I said last year, it would be nice to think we WOULDN'T need to do this again in 2010 but we will and the numbers are growing. God Bless America.

Beautifully done, Billie. Millie might be willing to register people that day. She LOVES to do that.

We need to have folks there to register people to vote. Bring your neighbors who are outraged but not registered. If you are not registered and don't vote, you have NO VOICE. You will be surprised at the people in your neigborhoods and at work who gripe but aren't "political" they like to say. Everything that affects us is political.

Beautifully said, Billie. How can anyone read those statements by those who came before us...who warned us of the very things that are happening now in our beloved country...and just sit back and do nothing? Like everyone else, I raised my family, lived my faith, worked hard, and trusted that those we elected would always put country first. Sadly, that is not the case. It falls to us now. We didn't ask for it. We didn't want it. However, if we care about the Constitution, our Declaration of Independence, our flag and the Republic for which it stands, we must stand for freedom now. No more fence sitting....we have to choose. I will be there on April 15...and I will remember in November.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
