And more from Washington, DC, the regulation capital of the world. We can all thank all those elected officials in Washington who approved this behemoth bill that will cripple the banking industry and cause a loss of jobs................................... The bill will take more man hours to comply with than the hours required to build the Panama Canal, but since we have a president who has never really had a real job and a whole group of democratic politicians who have never…

Folks are not liking the park closing 2 hours earlier than it used to (due to budget constraints largely).

Glad to see the Times Union making this a daily update to let everyone know what is going on with the choice of a new Duval School Superintendent. The school board is involving all stake holders in this process which could result in a choice that meets with everyone's approval.

This appears to be more about the current law suit where some folks had to sign up for social security than anything else, but you judge.

The Heartland Institute is a 28 year old, not for profit, think tank that promotes free market solutions. The institute has offices in both Chicago, Illinois and Washington, DC, but Mr. Taylor, a senior fellow at Heartland, is a resident of Florida. The below is his finding on Bill HB 7117. A great deal of thought will have to take place before re-electing many of those involved in the passage of this bill which will increase our already high utitility…

It's going to hard to blame this one on the republicans, but given this administration's propensity to blame all that happens on others and mostly republicans, I am sure they will try anyway! I would guess some of the folks, of Mr. Obama party, are thinking about re-election just now or maybe are even bright enough to understand this tax increase would have hurt the economy by taking money away from small business owners. Personally, I understand, not one dime of this proposed…

Lobbys and lobbyists are prominent in the Obama administration and have clout. Another promise broken and certainly not changing the environment in Washington as promised heah? A quote in the article says it all as lobbyists feel it an insult they might be limited "The administration, it said, appears to view lobbyists as predators and federal employees as “weak, unprincipled victims.” After the recent GSA boon doggle, I would say the quote is about right as far as federal…

I thought you might be interested in the response some of us got from the Governor's office on HB 7117. Although he did not sign it, he also did not veto the bill, and it automatically became law and will go into effect on July 1, 2012. It is a horrid bill, and we might want to remember this when we vote in the primaries in August and the General Elections in November. This bill was touted as a job creator, but the policies are the same as Obama's and we all know how many jobs…

Yet another issue Mr. Obummer and his administration seem to be on the opposite side from the American people! The poll findings should not come as a surprise though as many articles out there on this issue and most indicate the people do not consider requiring a voter id discriminatory.

I am pleased to see that people, like you and me, are being asked for recommendations, and people's names have been submitted for consideration. Some of the names are for folks who are already involved in other school systems around the state that have appealing programs.

I can't remember in my life time any administration that refused to uphold the law or charge people when obvious crimes were committed. What point is there in having laws if the president and the folks appointed to uphold the law and the constitution thumb their noses at the law when it comes to their friends? As we are finding, the folks in Washington seem to think they have a separate set of laws that cover them while they pass laws that are enforced against the group that is…

I am hoping everyone may find this as absurd as I find it. Mr. Obama has recommended that Mr. Romney release his previous tax returns in an effort to be as transparent as possible............this from a person who has spent huge sums of money to hide every single thing about himself including:

Now, who is running the state? There are 100 more lobbying groups in Tally!!!!!!! Time to open your eyes.
I think Rick Scott spent 75 MILLION dollars of his own money to become Governor?

4-13-2012 The group tonight consisted of 14 members, some new to this group and a few absentees. The group determined the overall vision of the group to be "The Election 2012 Team will seek to increase voter registration and ensure the integrity of the voting process for the 2012 election", and the Mission Statement to be "The Election 2012 Team will focus it's energy on the following key areas: GOTV/voter registration, poll watching, and voter fraud". If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
