In his own words, Mayor Brown said, when he was running for office that the downtown used to supply about 17% of the tax receipts and now supplies only 3% of the tax receipts.  The reason for this is that the city has bought up very nearly all the buildings and land in the downtown which takes them off the tax rolls, and now, they are trying to get people interested in leasing the land while they manage everything.  Is that something that sounds like something any business would…

Here we go again.  This is the same problem that got us into the housing meltdown brought to you by the same group, and once again when this goes south, they will once again do the blame thing and blame the banks when THEY did it.  No one in their right mind guarantees loans for people without bothering to check to see if they can afford to pay the money back or are even employed, but sanity and Obama have nothing to do with one another.

   Just got off the phone with my 82 yr old Mom in Jersey. She is so irrate about the democratic women. She constantly watches ALL the Fox channels as well as all the pertinant hearings that affect our country.

How sad for the family of the headmaster.   The violence of today is beyond the pale, and we must all be aware and on guard when someone seems to behave in a manner outside the norm around us.  We live in dangerous times!

This would certainly be one explanation for the escalating costs of energy, but if you listen to the administration, all the spokesman act like they have done wonders for opening exploration and creating more chances for us becoming self sufficient................not true if you are shutting things down like coal mines since many power plants depend on burning coal (and burning it clean).
