A public update on proposed state road projects in Baker, Putnam, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau and Duval counties will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Florida Department of Transportation Training Center at 2198 Edison Ave., of Interstate 10 at the Stockton Street exit.

A public update on proposed state road projects in Baker, Putnam, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau and Duval counties will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Florida Department of Transportation Training Center at 2198 Edison Ave., of Interstate 10 at the Stockton Street exit.

The list of projects are proposed for construction between 2011 and 2016 in the 18-county area of District Two. The state agency must update its five-year transportation plan and display projects requested by local government, metropolitan planning organizations and the public. Those projects will be presented to the Florida legislature for budget approval this spring.
