Back in September when Jenna resigned as the office manager, I thought this would be a great opportunity. However, I quickly found it difficult to juggle research and other efforts I was involved in and have time left for my family. After less than a week I called several friends to say I didn’t think I would be able to handle working at the office in addition to my other endeavors. This weighed heavy on my mind for several days then one morning on my way to work as I turned on the radio I heard Charles Stanley say “You asked God to put you here and now your complaining; God did his part now you have to stand up and do yours.”
Yesterday I attended an event sponsored by Bear Witness; Agenda 21 Conference – Save the Republic. I learned more disturbing facts regarding the condition of our nation. How can I help with this effort too? What are we going to do?
I spent the night trying to digest all this new information and wondering how I could make an impact on yet another issue. This morning when I checked my email I had more than 65 emails to go through, ugh. After more than two hours I had finally finished going through the emails. However, had yet to begin looking into the information from yesterday. I was feeling overwhelmed and defeated.
It was time to put this on the shelf and take care of some family things, so I decided to head to the grocery store. Sitting in my car at the light, people everywhere, I felt so alone, defeated, and just felt like saying “I QUIT.” I don’t know what made me turn on the radio, but I did. Since I was using my husband’s car I did not know what station would come on, but as soon as I turned on the radio I heard “Don’t try to take care of everything, but pray for everything then ask God for what you need and listen, he will tell you what to do.” This statement was directed to me; I am trying to take care of things without knowing what the “big picture” is.
I finished the grocery shopping and got in the car to head back home. Thinking about what I heard just a short time before and realizing that with God everything is possible. Listening to the radio, I was at the top of the Buchman Bridge and heard this statement on the same station, “Coincidence is spelled GOD.”
The battle we are in for our nation and for those around the world depending on our success is in God’s hands and for that I am thankful. We cannot take care of everything, but we can pray for everything and seek God’s guidance.
There have been so many times recently when I feel there is no answer and no hope as we are up against so many obstacles, but each time I get to this point God reaches out and lets me know he is there. Thank you Father for your words of wisdom today, I feel much better.
All my love,
Debbie

Great post Debbie. There are times I too feel overwhelmed. Besides the ever needed prayer, here is one thing I like to think about. When Glenn Beck was on FOX, on the set there was a mosaic of the Constitution on the wall in back of his desk. At the end of that year, Glenn spoke to us about feeling alone and feeling surrounded and outnumbered. He said only 20% of the country is liberal. So there are more of us than there is of them. At the end of the show, the camera zoomed in on the mosaic of the Constitution. It was made up of pictures. Pictures of folks like us. Each and every little picture created that beautiful work of art. Just like each and every one of us create the body of patriotic Americans. Most likely, none of us ever thought we would be in the situation we are in now. And most of us would much rather not have to fight this fight. It's going to be long and hard. But, we all know, it is the good fight. And fight it, we must. I pray that God gives us the strength, wisdom and guidance to carry out His will and save His Republic.
Fred, I am o.k. God let me know today that he should carry the burden and I need to remember that. Thank you.
Debbie,
What can WE do to help you? What can we do to give you more time with you family. I could come over at least one day a week to answer the phone. I am nowhere as good on computer as you. But i can do something, stand guard, pray for you (but if our Lord impresses on me to GO, I will GO).
"Coincidences are God's way of remaining anonymous."
Gods army!
Amen
Thank you everyone for the kind words, I love being a part of Gods family! May the hand of the lord guide us all.
Debbie,
Do what you can with the grace and the perfect spirit God has sealed within you , then allow Him do the things you can't, believing with all your heart, He can.
What's hard for you is easy for Him.
The impossible trials and heavy burdens you face roll far beneath His feet.
I, too, am so discouraged at all the, what seem to me, overwhelming obstacles that we confront in our battle to stop the rapid deterioration of our culture and the erosion of our values that I want to say " the heck with it, it's too big for me." But then something happens such as when our Town Criers Committee walks around in Old Town St Augustine in period costume and we see so many people giving us a thumbs up and telling us "Keep up the good work", We're with you, can we have our picture taken with you," that we feel refreshed and buoyed with optimism to keep up the good fight. Our Committee walks around our town in Colonial Costumes handing out pocket Constitutions and engaging people, mostly tourists from everywhere. The majority are very happy to see us and regard our efforts to remind them that we are a very "at risk" society and if we do nothing we will lose the most valuable thing we possess, our freedom. We don't have much time left. The power of our Government is so oppressive and extensive that it takes my breath away, but fight on we must. All of us must do as much as we can to change, (I hate that word, any more) the direction of our country.
Debbie,
God will help us fight and will give us the strength that we need to succeed! Most of us have gone through and suffered through what Socialism/Marxism is all about in our countries, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., through our families or directly. We must not quit! There is too much at stake. We do need to stay together and help each other out to be able to win.

Thank you for sharing this Debbie. I sometimes wonder how you do all you do, and I will admit I now have days just like yours yesterday when I think "nope, can't do it"..............fortunately it only lasts a day and then, I pick myself up, stop feeling sorry for myself and get back at it! I am not sure if someone or something intercedes (but I suspect they do without my realizing it has happened. Bless you for every single thing you do and every hour you spend doing it, and I am so sorry you don't have the time you should with your family. I hope and pray this November all this hard work will pay off.....................
And yes, Joanna, just about the time you think you have everything on your plate you can handle.............3 or 4 more things get added. Hmmmm how does that happen :).
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
