Fellow Patriots,
Don't Ask, Don't Tell was working. It's repeal may not.
My concern about the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is how the repeal actually plays out in practice.
Let's assume an openly gay soldier is posted to service in a combat theater where the host government is a theocracy that does not tolerate gays. Is that gay person now exempt from combat service in that theater?
If so,
(1) A disproportionate portion of "straight" soldiers will now bear the burden and risks of combat.
(2) A disproportionate portion of "straight" soldiers in combat areas will continue to face attempts by certain bureaucrats to become "disenfranchised" voters. Consider President Bill Clinton's executive order in 2000 to make it more difficult for on base / deployed soldiers to vote in that now famous election. Also, look at all the fun and games played in the various Democrat controlled States to get ballots distributed far too late for the votes of deployed soldiers to be counted. Please get smart folks, there is a reason why certain states have their primaries so late. Now they can claim there is not enough time to get ballots distributed.
The end result, do the math: a disproportionate portion of Republican soldiers will have their lives placed at risk in combat and will also have their votes pushed aside.
Every Republican Congress person that voted for this needs to be defeated in the PRIMARY and every Democrat needs to be defeated in the general election.
May God bless America!
May God save ALL of our soldiers!
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
