Essay contest winner announced
A special highlight of the Constitution Day celebration was the announcement of the winner of the First Coast Tea Party’s Constitution Day essay contest. Dr. Armando Delgado of Merritt Island, Fla. was selected as the winner of the contest, the theme of which was “What the Constitution Means to Me.” In his essay, Dr. Delgado said the Constitution was “the lifeblood of our nation.”

“This structurally simple but ideologically profound document is what allowed our country to become the freest nation in the world, the greatest example of individual liberty to all nations, and the most economically developed country the world has ever seen,” he wrote. “Thanks to its structural simplicity, the Constitution is easy to understand by all citizens and in reflecting the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, it is a guiding beacon that has been followed by generations of Americans, thus helping to preserve our freedom for over 200 years.”

He went on to compare the Constitution to the Ten Commandments in that it “gives a set of guiding principles for government that has no equal. It should be immutable and should remain the cornerstone of our nation, if we hope to remain a free country.”

This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
