Just The Facts:

Police report filed on stolen Schellenberg signs April 28th; they were discovered in a retention pond behind the Bealls department store at the corner of San Jose and Orange Picker in Mandarin.  This is the SAME place the signs were found discarded during the primary elections in March.

I see nothing wrong with him having a "closed" Facebook page, since you have to be a friend to post on Facebook pages anyway. Security is like nil. He has other sites, as well.  No one is excluded. If you want to access the information clandestinely, this one can easily be infiltrated, if it hasn't been already. If you openly want to join you just have to request to be a friend, and yes indeed, I am a friend. :-)

Hello Rhonda,

Mr. Webb is running a campaign site as a closed site?  I can understand a personal site or an activist site being closed, but if you are running for a public office, why would you have a closed site?  No one can post to an open site unless you have "friended them" and even then, you an remove comments you don't like.

Have you joined this closed site?  Interesting to say the least!

@Debbie G

That's BS. period. Perhaps a sign needs to be made that Jack Webb's supporters and campaigners are steeling Schellenberg's support signs?

'This sign may be gone tomorrow because of Jack Webb's low campaign tactics and supporters but our support for Matt Schellenberg stands.'

My question is " if this city employee did do this was it done while on city time?"  If he did then the only fair thing to do is to tell him "Out you go !  Right ! !   It doesn't matter at this point if it is a part of the "game" if it was done on city time then he has to go.

@JL

The camera issue has been cited each and every time the Schellenberg signs have been stolen.  However, it seems that "sign stealing" is just part of the "game."  Those of us involved with the Schellenberg campaign are just average citizens, not lawyers or politicians, so not only are we unfamiliar with the "game" we also do not have friends in significant places.  This whole situation has an air of elitism.

My question Debbie G would be what is recorded on cams that probably are at the shopping center or surrounding properties. Our neighborhood has set up cameras to record any activity of sign thievery since the primaries, they lost two sets. Carla Miller is a good person and a great attorney. I am sure Mr. Hemmerly's reputation precedes him. People who do unlawful and dishonest things do the same in their life and business. A good honorable person would not behaving in this manor. That is what is so disturbing about Jack Webb, look at what he has done and supported not what he says, he is a very dishonorable and disingenuous person. I would not vote for him. He is part of the problem in our city government.

@JR,

Completely understand, I have spoke with Carla Miller many times and she has offered many different options, all of which are not for the faint of heart though.  Thank you for all the references you include in your posts, references and facts are our only tools to combat this political corruption that seems ubiquitous.

Tony Hemmerly should be relieved of any activity, paid or otherwise, connected with the City of Jacksonville.

Most County offices open by 8:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. If the link to Sandy Simmons doesn't work here, it does work on the webpage. It's an e-mail address. Actually, you could just highlight it and copy it into your browser, then enter it into the e-mail address line.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
