7,000 PLUS STAND UP FOR FREEDOM AT THE LANDING - THE TEA PARTY IS HERE TO STAY!

You did it guys!! You showed our government officials and the media that you are still here and you “Will Remember in November!”

The music by Murray Goff and the Let Freedom Sing Team kept you swinging those signs and if you want to hear more of Murray’s special songs – go to www.murraygoff.com.

Our special guests, Lou Pritchett and Star Parker, did not hold back and told it like it is. Both come from very different backgrounds yet they see the truth behind what is really happening in government today. They both knocked it out of the park last night.

When we were not allowed to use any color guards from the military or even the Boy Scouts last year, we decided to build our own. Today they are on the front page of the Times Union and they are a fine looking group of Patriots. By the way, the TU stated that only 2,000 people showed up!! Both Channels 4 and 12 got the number right and showed some great clips of the event.

We thank WOKV and WBOB for their support and as a reminder, WBOB will be moving to 1460 on the “dial” in a few weeks. Stay tuned to their station to hear more about the move.

There are many THANK YOU’s that need to be sent out to all those who worked behind the scenes to make this event happen. It has taken months of coordination and organization and it was worth all the time, effort and money invested into this event! Your tireless efforts and commitment to the cause of Restoring the Republic are so appreciated.

The program was packed and unfortunately we had some who did not get on the stage. We apologize to those individuals who spent their time preparing and were unable to give you their message. We will throw another party soon just for you guys.

Now what? In the words of Roosevelt – “We have only just begun to fight!” These next few months will be tough and we need each of you to get involved and stay active. We are thrilled to announce we are opening an office and we will be working day and night to ensure we stay focused on educating you on the issues at hand in DC and Tallahassee – and locally!

  • We will plan seminars and educational forums about our Founding documents and about hot legislative matters.
  • Posting information through our website will keep you informed about Hot Tea Issues and actions you should take.
  • Visits with our local, state and federal leaders will be set up and we hope you can attend with us.
  • As for November – we will be finalizing Candidate Checklists soon and Candidate Forums will be arranged so you can meet and greet those who are running for office.
  • The March on DC on September 12th will be arranged through our office so ask your boss for some time off and make your plans to head to DC with us.

So what can you do starting today?

· Research every candidate, every judge, every item on the ballot and every piece of legislation that may impact our American way of life.

· Tell others about the Tea Party Movement and encourage them to get involved.

· Hold a Home Tea Party and we’ll help you set one up by bringing in a speaker and printed information about the movement. Contact us at firstcoastteaparty@gmail.com about this.

· Join a Group on the website: www.firstcoastteaparty.ning.com and get involved using your talents and expertise. Join a local Community group such as Nassau County, Orange Park, etc so you can work alongside your neighbors to take our country back. Those groups are located on our site as well.

· Make a one-time donation to the First Coast Tea Party at http://firstcoastteaparty.org/?page_id=36 and help us pay for the costs of events, printed materials, office supplies, phones, faxes, and travel expenses. For anyone who donates $50 or more, we will send you a “Tea” shirt as a thank you!

· Pledge $10 a month for 2010. If you can pledge $10 a month between now and the end of the year, we can apply those funds towards our budget. To make a pledge, send us an email at firstcoastteaparty@gmail.com and put in the subject line: PLEDGE. We will send you a “Pledge Reminder on the first of each month. $10 or More would be appreciated and used wisely.

· Check out the events section of our website. We have a lot of opportunities for you to be involved. More events are added almost daily so keep checking and make us the first place you go to activate your citizenship. https://firstcoastteaparty.ning.com/events

In closing – how about listening to Murray’s song – Stand Up – and Stand Up Today as you head back to work, head towards the weekend and head “them” off at the pass as we Restore the Republic one day at a time!

Parking was no problem for us. We parked on the South Bank and rode the Water Taxi to the landing. The cost was much less than parking downtown for the 4.5 hours we spent at dinner and the Tea Party.

Thanks to Billie and all the others who work so hard to put on all these events. The patriotic spirit is alive and well, I think all who were there understand that our country is under attack as never before . we must continue to fight this Obama movement to make us a Third World country. He is out to destroy our Free Market system, and bankrupt our country, with his Soros money. I pray that our Tea Party Movement will be able to continue to wake up all that still have their heads in sand, thinking this can't happen to our country. I pray that God will save us from this President and all his left wing radical Czars and appointees. We have a battle ahead of us, and with God's help this country will survive, because WE THE PEOPLE will not "sit down and shut up".

I always have my faith in the American people and in this country that we will prevail every time the Tea Party has an event or even a meeting of one of its subgroups. The Pride and the energy cannot be expressed in words... but invigorating and phenomenal come to mind !!! It was amazing, but I even met a man at Hooter's after the event who said, "believe it or not, I am an actual decendent of Betsy Ross..." Amazing how things happen in our lives when we allow the Hand of God to control it.
I am Soooo PROUD of the Citizens of Jacksonville and Northeast FL who attended the event. To those people...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE NEEDED TO HELP RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THIS GREAT NATION!!!

I was there last year, but unable to make it this year. I was there in spirit, and glad it was a great success.

I stopped by for only an hour and a half with two friends. They both signed up for the Tea Party. Most exciting was that the father and son that came with me signed up and were new activists. The son had just turned 18; his father thought we should set a good example and start him of in the right direction. You could see the excitement in his eyes. A little fear, mixed with pride and anticipation. The music helped put him at ease. He was proud to sign the scroll along with his father and I. This was a fine right of passage. When we pulled into the driveway back at his home several of his younger friends were waiting for him to return. As he exited the truck I could since that he was a little taller than his usual 6’2” and a little broader at the shoulder than before. The men were back!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
