DESCRIPTION:Our October meeting will be this coming Monday, October 9,
  at Junior’s Sandwiches, 9347 North Main Street.  Meet, greet and ea
 t will be from 5:30 – 6:30 with the meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.  S
 ince Irma caused us to cancel our September meeting, I look forward to
  reconvening on the 9th.  Jerry Holland was our scheduled speaker for 
 September and has graciously agreed to speak this month.  On a sad not
 e, Jerry lost his mother last week.  Please be in prayer for Jerry dur
 ing this time.\r\n\r\nAn update to our collection of donations for hur
 ricane victims.  The truck scheduled for Texas was delayed due to Irma
  and then cancelled.  I was able to contact the Salvation Army and the
 y gratefully picked up the donated items and were delivered to areas o
 f need.  I sincerely appreciate the generosity of all those that contr
 ibuted to this effort.\r\n\r\nI know all of you share in the realizati
 on that we live in dark times.  It is difficult to see all that is goi
 ng on in our country.  Who would have ever thought our National Anthem
  or our beautiful flag would be a cause of division in this country.
