Just this last week, a young man – 19 years old – from Gainesville was killed in Afghanistan. His name is Lance Cpl. Philip P. Clark and instead of heading to the beach with his buddies, he will be laid to rest forevermore. His family is grieving and we grieve wit h them as well. We thank them for the ultimate sacrifice their son pai d.\n\n\nMany have chosen to stand for freedom for us and other across the globe. And many have died doing so. Please take an hour out of you r day tomorrow to remember those sacrifices. The event starts at 10:00 and is located adjacent to the Jaguar Stadium.
