 ur community for the better. We think “better” results from a stro
 ng voice of those committed to biblical values influencing local polic
 y. Whether it’s opposing the “lingerie shops” which invaded our 
 community a decade ago or the recent bout with “internet cafes.” W
 e also want to encourage pro-active support for all the positive thing
 s being contemplated or introduced into our community. Some of the mos
 t obvious of those are innovative changes in the school system to help
  prepare “all” our children for the challenges they face as well.\
 n \nThere are a number of organizations that foster these sentiments.
  Participation in all or several is essential if we’re to avoid hand
 ing over our culture to those that don’t share our values. Like it o
 r not, we are the beneficiaries of a representative form of government
 . If you’ve seen or read about some of the alternatives …. it’s 
 hard not to like it, but we must be involved. One of the most importan
 t is our county Republican Party Organization (REC). The REC is instru
 mental in finding, vetting and supporting republican candidates. They 
 are your representatives and have huge influence on all aspects of our
  community.\n \nWe would like for you to give serious consideration t
 o attending the next REC meeting at the Orange Park town hall on May 2
 0th at 7:00. It’s a small inconvenience (privilege) to “serve” a
