 6, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., prior to the School Board meeting, at 2233 Vill
 age Square Parkway, Fleming Island, FL, 32003, in the parking lot of t
 he Fleming Island High School.\nThe citizens of Clay County are being 
 asked by Ballot Initiative to surrender their right to vote and elect 
 the Superintendent of Schools. The Ballot Initiative question reads as
  follows: “Shall the Superintendent of Schools of Clay County, Flori
 da, be appointed by the School Board of Clay County, Florida?”\nDuri
 ng this Press Conference, the citizens of Clay County will hear import
 ant information that they may not have yet heard. The citizens will be
  told the truth as to how the Initiative ended up on the ballot in the
  first place, what will happen to the current Superintendent, and how 
 will it happen, and when, if the electors give up their right to vote,
  making the Superintendent of Clay County Schools an appointed positio
 n.\nAmber Shepherd will address the public with answers to these and o
 ther questions: 1. Why must we preserve our right to elect the superin
 tendent? 2. Has the language chosen for the Ballot Initiative been dec
 eptive? 3. If the electors surrender their right to vote for the super
 intendent of schools, what will be some of the consequences relating t
