DESCRIPTION:Right now Chick-fil-A, a chain of restaurants started mor
 e than 40 years ago by Truett Cathy, a devoutly Christian businessman 
 who has seen his humble efforts grow into an enterprise that does more
  than $4 billion a year in business, is running counter to what the pr
 esident's agenda.  Mr. Cathy and his family built their business th
 emselves - and they have been generous in their support of conservativ
 e causes.\nRecently Dan Cathy, Truett's son and the CEO of Chick-fil-A
  gave an interview in which he voice his support for traditional marri
 age. For voicing his opinion, he has been attacked personally, the Dem
 ocratic mayors of Boston and Chicago have said publicly that they don'
 t want any Chick-fil-A franchises in their cities, college activists a
 re trying to get the restaurant kicked off their campuses, and militan
 t pro-same sex marriage groups are calling for a national boycott.\nWe
  have to fight back. We have to stand up for Chick-fil-A because, by d
 oing so, we are standing up for the first amendment, for free speech, 
 and for our values.\nA number of people including former Arkansas Gove
 rnor Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, have
  suggested we adopt August 1, 2012 as \"Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day\"
  and that we demonstrate our support for them by eating at least on me
 al that day at one of their restaurants.\nI think that's a good idea a
 nd I am going to do it. And I'm asking you to join me in doing the sam
 e. And to lend your voice to the thousands of people who are stating t
 heir support for Chick-fil-A on Twitter, on Facebook and on other soci
 al media platforms.\nUnder Barack Obama, the far-left has tried to mak
 e outcasts of ordinary citizens who stand up for traditional American 
 values. We can't let them get away with it. We have to stand up for wh
